After school I waited at my locker with the gifts in hand and was texting Daniel asking about how the kids were.
I waited two more minutes before Shan came, but I had yet to notice. So when Shan tried to remove the phone from my possession, I quickly grabbed his hand tightly before letting go quickly when I realized it was him.
S-Sorry I guess I thought you were going to hit me or something," Shan looks at me with sympathy.
"No I'm sorry I should have never let it get that far, and don't worry I'm promising to you now that me and everyone else will not bother you," Shan vowed with his hand over his heart and talked to me softly.
"Okay but we should go now," he nodded and followed me down the hall.
"Where are we going... or what are we doing as I should say?" Shan asks.
"We are going to Starbucks to see a friend of mine," He looks at me in surprise. "What?" I ask.
He shrugs and smiles, "Just didn't think you had any friends." I nod. "Should I follow you there?"
"Yeah," an we walk out the front doors together, making people who are in the parking lot look at us weird.
Knowing everyone must have saw when he came in with flowers and stuff then gave it to the nerd, I know there has to be some type of rumor beside the one that said he did it so he could get in my pants in the ones that say he was dared to be nice to me for a week.
I don't care for rumors and gossip I'm leaving all these immature children and queen want-to-be's and moving on with my life as soon as I graduate.
"Hope!" I turn and see Hunter a step or two behind me, Shan gives Hunter a disgusted look before walking away to his car not before he told me he would wait for me.
"Why would he need to wait for you?" Ryan asked beside Hunter and Tyler was standing on the other side Hunter also holding the same confused look Hunter has.
"Because he can," I say before turning my back on them and walking away. I kinda felt bad about being rude, but it wasn't all that bad.
With that said I walk away and get into my car, turning on the engine and driving out the school parking lot. When on the street I look in my rearview mirror and see Shan following behind me, all the way to Starbucks.
The parking lot wasn't as full as usual so I can park in the front with an empty space beside me where Shan parks his car.
We both get out our cars and walk towards the front entrance. Shan gets in front of me to open the door for me. Sending him a gentle thanks I walk in and look around the café and see black, slicked back hair in the back booth with tattoos coming from the sides if his head to wear his black T-shirt cuts off the rest of my view.
I motion Shan to follow me and walk to the back booth where Mark sits. I stand right next to the table not saying anything while watching him type on him phone.
"I said I didn't want anything, if you come over here one mo.." Mark looks up from his phone and finally noticed it was me. "Oh.. hey baby girl!" He smiles and gets up from his seat placing a kiss on on my cheek.
"Hey," I giggle.
"So what's was important," I tilt my head to the side where Shan stands looking scared and confused.
"H-How are.. how do you know each other more or less how are you dating each other?" Shan questions still confused.
"Why you got a problem with it," Mark steps away from our embrace and take a threatening step towards Shan.
