Want to do it again?
"Well I guess if your looking into hiring someone I guess I could make a few calls," he states, I wanted to squint my eyes at him but I didn't want to give any reaction to him so kept my face emotionless.
"Let's see I'm going to need you to sign these papers, you can have your lawyer and whoever else read over it and I can send a copy to you or if you don't sign you and your people will gladly leave the States on your own or forcefully," I state he has two choices sign the papers and stay or don't and leave.
"Well you do want to see your sister again so please explain to me again why I would need to leave?" He rests his body weight on one arm on the chair.
"Because I said so, and you can't threaten me with my sister," I could really go off on him right now with the way he is questioning me and who the hell does he think he is coming in my office expecting me to just hand over my position. Never in a million years would I ever make that mistake, you don't know the worldly consequences that would have on us.
"Well since you said so I'll just sign," he takes out a pen from the inside pocket of his coat. Signing the papers after only skimming over them and handing them back to me. "Is that all?" He asks with a sigh as though he was bored.
"Of course sense we already discussed the basics, and if there's something that's going on around your territory then I will let you know," I say professionally because I was about to say it in a very fake way for a second, I don't know why but I just don't like him.
I stand from my seat which makes Henry stand from his and Mark walks over to the door opening it for us. "Tell me again why is it that you haven't told your sister about yourself?" He really trying to get under my skin right now. Really!?!
"Probably because you have kept her trapped away from me and everyone else, so who knows where she is now," I tilt my head slightly to the side.
"Right..." He says no longer with a side smirk, then leaves with Mark and I sit back in my seat releasing the breath I didn't realize I was holding.
Why is his face so irritating, why can't something's just go as they should have been planned. Why would my sister plan to marry a man who bought her and has a literal Mafia. I just can't really understand this I feel like I can't breathe I just want my sister back and even if she's not technically being held against her will the target on her back is going to be higher than the one on his.
I let my hair out of it's messy bun and run my fingers through my hair. Letting myself remember the few memories I have of her before she was taken away from my family calming myself down. Mark walks into the room and let's his hand run up and down my back I guess in his own way trying to relax me.
"Are you alright? I can take everyone home of you want?" Realization hits me and I pick my head up. How could I forget that the guys and the kids are with Kevin and Xavier right now.
"No it's fine I'll go, but you should go lay down I could see you resisting to hold your side the whole time," standing from my seat I walk past him as he nods his head.
"Yeah okay you got me there," he chuckled then stops immediately groaning and still resisting to hold his side.
"Like I said go lay down I'm going to check on the guys," I then slowly but surely get back to the cart and go to the apartments. There is a lounge on the first level and when I walked in I could hear everyone in there or more specifically Iris telling the guys off.
"Well I'm back," I make my appearance known as I walk around a small wall.
"Mum finally your here, your friends don't know anything," Iris shakes her head and the guys look at her baffled.
