Where they go?

"Wow, mum you look great," Iris says. The kids and Daniel had just got back from trick or treating,

"Thank ya, my baby," I pinched her cheeks and she swats my hand away.

"So are you about to leave..." Daniel says as he walks into my closet and sees me sitting at my vanity then lets out a low whistle. "Woah."

"Daddy, no!" Owen exclaims pulls Daniel's arm to spin him around to look away from me.

"What? What I do?" Daniel questioned.

"Your not dating mum anymore so you can't see her and tell her that!" Owen exclaimed I think Tiana has been teaching then stuff I wouldn't know about.

"Ouch you didn't have to remind me that  I can no longer hold your beautiful mother in my arms anymore or pick her up and toss her in the air like this," he does that to Owen. "Or kiss her adorable cheeks like this," he kisses Owen all over his face.

Daniel puts him done and Owen puffs his cheeks. "That would be like cheating daddy," ah such innocence.

"Well okay, I guess I'll just tell her that she looks like the troll from under the bridge from Dora the Explorer." Daniel shrugs and I gasp and throw a shoe at his back and he arched his back in pains and fell to his knees.

"Grandma, my what... strength you have," Daniel catches his breath.

"No daddy you can't say that either, you can only say simple things," Iris explained in a duh tone.

"Okay, hey, you! Nice," he gives a thumbs up then turns back to the kids.

Iris slapped her hand to her face with a sigh. Exasperated Daniel asked. "What did I do now?"

"Nothing! Nothing daddy let's just leave it," Iris says dramatically.

"Well I do know one thing and that is...," Daniel does a drum roll in my wall. "It's bedtime!" He picks them both up, swinging them over his shoulders. "Let's go!"

"Noooo," the kids yell while holding their tiny arms out to me as Daniel carried then away.

Laughing at their retreating figures I then settle down and looked at the time. It was still kinda early and want to get there kinda late to make sure enough people were already drunk when I get there. So to pass the time I decided to cook dinner cause knowing Daniel he will eat all my snacks if I don't and by the time I'm finished, it should be time for me to leave.

After a while, Daniel strolled into the kitchen and he would crack a bunch jokes about how my costume fits my personality. Then he went on to tell me about his life and what he's been up to and I did the same considering we haven't actually talked in a while or rather since Hunter and I started dating.

He told me about some of his most exciting missions and I would tell him about the things Hunter and I do together. Like how he was taken me out of my comfort zone and showed me what it's like to be a teenager. Even helping me with my work for the organization with getting the gang and mafia leaders in order. Daniel then went on to tell me about all the types of people he has met while on these missions or the lives he's saved on them.

Once I was done cooking and talking I checked the time and it was 11:48 which was the perfect cause then I would get to the party close or past midnight when everyone is mainly drunk. Before leaving Daniel, of course, tells me to be careful and send m off with a wave from the doorway.

When I finally got to the party I thought it best to park the car some homes down from the party just in case some drunk teens try to take any cares for a joy ride or if they trashed it with eggs and their drinks or toilet paper.
