Moving in to a new house

Betty is now seven and a half months pregnant and she is in her third trimester and let's just say it's difficult, she wants to move into our new house before the baby comes so it's a nice clean environment. The lockdown is lifted a bit as riverdale is a small town so we rented moving trucks to move all the couches and basically everything and we chucked out a bunch of useless stuff

She wanted to help but I was absolutely it letting my heavily pregnant fiancé Carry in boxes so I told her she can unpack and put everything where she wants it because I have no idea what to do on that department

The house has a kitchen,dining room, washing rooms (washing machines and stuff),living room, 3 bathrooms, basement, storage room, garage, 5 bedrooms, a play room and an office

"Daddy this house is a bit bigger than our old one, I LOVE IT" Brooklyn runs around and sprinkles runs with her

"Glad you love it babe but can you run around outside please" I tell her while helping my dad carry in one if the couches

"I'm proud of you jug, really proud" my dad sighs once we have the couch in place

"Thanks dad" I say and we hug

"Daddy! When juju come back, how she know where new house is" lily comes in worried

"She won't know where it is but I will go and get her from camp and bring her home when she's able to" I tell her

"ohhhhhh what if she doesn't like her room" she asks again

"She will love it because she was wanting her room redone anyway, now go and play" I reply she skips off

"It's a really nice house" my dad says

"It will look more better once everything is painted and new carpets and everything is put in place" I reply followed by crying we rush into the kitchen and betty is sitting on the floor with Riley on her lap balling her eyes out

"She doesn't like change and she is saying she doesn't like it here and it's not safe" betty says

"awww my Riley tiger" my dad takes her and seats side to side He continues to fit any until she calms down

"Listen, I know you don't like change but this house is so much better than your old one, it's got a biiiiiig garden to play in... aaaand you can run around so much because the house is big aswell" he says

"And there is no need to feel unsafe because of anyone trues to come in here, papa will sort them out" he says and she giggles

"My hero" she kisses his cheek and he begins to tear up

"now why don't you come and help me put away stuff into these cupboards so you know where stuff is? Will that help you" betty asks and my dad puts Riley down and he walks out sniffing

I follow behind him to the front porch, he's sitting on the portcullis swing

"Dad are you okay?" I ask

"Everything just feels sureal" he says staring into the distance

"What do you mean?" I ask sitting next to him causing it to swing a little bit 

"After almost thirteen years, it still hasn't sunk in that, I'm a grandpa, my son has kids, I have grandchildren that I love so much, i have a daughter in law who is just the most purest girl in the world, and he's just moved into a new house with his family 'just can't believe that this is my life now, it's amazing" he says smiling

"They are the sweetest in the world and when you hear them call you their hero, it just made me so happy that I managed to turn my life around so that you stayed and didn't run away or I wouldn't have any of this" he says smiling
