That night, nagkaroon kami ng masayang sleepover. They all knew about what happened to me last Friday at syempre lahat sila galit na naman kay Ella. Honestly, I wanted to bring back our friendship. Just like the old times pero mukhang malabo na lalo na't may galit sila kay Ella.

I actually opened up this topic before we went to sleep but they told me na wala silang mood para pag-usapan ang ganyang bagay. They were hopeless to bring our friendship back but para sa'kin, may pag-asa pa. We can just at least talk to Ella naman diba?

The next day was Sunday, we decided to go to church syempre kasama si mama at papa then we had our family lunch sa isang restaurant. We went home around 3 in the afternoon at syempre, sa kwarto na naman ako nakatambay.

Ares keeps on calling but I would ignore his calls, I had the urge to block him but I stopped myself dahil mahalata nito at magulat na lang ako na nasa tapat na siya ng bahay ko.

like he would do that for me.

Right now, I am thinking of a long explanation kung bakit ako hindi pumasok last Saturday. My mind was too clouded at nakalimutan ko ang schedule ko, I actually told Emily that I got sick but natatakot ako kapag marami pa itong tanong.

I am having my dinner when my phone rang again, akala ko naman ay si Ares but it was just Kian kaya I excused myself and went outside to answer his calls.

"Hey, honey." Kian laughed.

"Napatawag ka ata?" I chuckled. "Miss na miss ah."

"I won't deny that but I just want to tell you that Ella isn't pregnant."

Natigilan ako sa aking narinig.

"How did you--"

"Guevara personally went on my company. He told me na under din pala ng kompanya namin si Ella. I was of course surprised but he asked me to investigate Ella, ayaw ko sana but I am worried about you dahil alam kong 'yan ang gumugulo sa isip mo ngayon." he explained.

Kian noticed how I became silent on the other line which made him continue what he was saying.

"The investigator gave me a complete background about Elaine. Noong nasa highschool palang tayo ay nalaman nito na ampon siya, which made her think that everyone doesn't love her. I found out that she was renting an apartment at apat na trabaho ang ginagawa nito hanggang college. That's why when she found out that Ares likes her, she grabbed the opportunity but, nalaman din naman agad ni Ares na ginagamit lang siya ni Ella."

That's why she's desperate to have Ares.

"Bakit hanggang ngayon patuloy pa din siyang humahabol kay Ares?"

"Because she loves him."
