I was walking down the hallway at alam ko naman na pumasok ako sa school ng mas maaga kaysa sa usual time na pagpasok ko and of course, a big smile was plastered on my face.

Nakangiti akong pumasok sa loob ng room and good thing na wala pa akong classmate sa loob. I have a lot of time to day dream about what happened last night.

I can't believe that Ares and I had a late night talk. It was a miracle, I should go to church mamaya and thank Papa God for the blessings he gave me these week.

"Hoy, Paloma."

Napahawak ako sa dibdib ko dahil nagulat ako sa pagtawag nito. I know that voice of course at ang tanging nasa isip ko na lamang ngayon ay kurutin ang babaeng 'to.

"You almost gave me a heart attack, Danica." I rolled my eyes at her. In fairness, maaga din siya ngayon. Inspired din ba 'to?

"Ang OA mo talaga, ever." she also rolled her eyes at me. "Alam mo ba? You look like a dog, smiling ear to ear kanina."

I stood up from my seat at lumapit muna sa kanya. She was sitting kaya tumabi na din ako and stuck my tongue out.

"Palibhasa, zero love life ka." I mocked her and she showed me a disgusting look on her face.

"Nahiya naman ako sa'yo." she mocked back.

"Excuse me." I rolled my eyes at her. "May ka late night talk ako kagabi and guess what?"

"What?" the look on Danica's face never changed, nandidiri talaga 'to kapag love life ko na ang pinaguusapan, how cruel!

"Guess nga diba?" I laughed but she only gave mr a straight, serious face.

"Sobrang arte mo talaga, Nyx Paloma. Saan ka ba pinaglihi?" ani Danica sabay iling pa ng kanyang ulo.

"Say please muna then I'll tell you kung bakit ako good mood." I winked, changing the topic.

"Not interested." she shrugged and opened her bag to get a book. I just pouted at her and mumbled 'hindi ka na magkaka-jowa niyan.' and good thing, she didn't heared it.

"Why do you love to read mythology books?" tanong ko habang pinagmamasdan ang book na binabasa niya. She is very interested when it comes sa ganitong kind of genre.

"Maganda e." maikling sagot nito. Danica is a very preserved person which is actually okay naman dahil at least, may mahinhin sa barkada namin.

"Maganda? What if nagsa-sales talk ka tapos magtatanong kung bakit siya bibili nito, isasagot mo lang na kasi nagagandahan ka?" I asked. I know medyo maingay na ako but I am her best friend, she must entertain me.
