I smiled unconsciously after I saw his name plate, I can't help myself but to feel proud for him. Malayo na din pala ang narating niya, I heard from Kian that his company is doing well kaya siguro ganito na agad kalayo ang naabot niya.

He has beauty and brains.

"Let's discuss more about the offer." I stated and sat on the chair in front of his desk. He made its way to his swivel chair and faced me, to be specific he is staring at me.

"Should we start now?" I asked in a small voice still, he is staring at me. I waved my hand in front of his face at mabuti na lang ay natauhan siya.

"Pardon?"

"We should discuss more about the offer, Ares."

He nooded. "Right. What do you want to know?"

"What kind of pictorial is it?"

"Endorsement of my new game. I need models to act like they are playing the game then, we'll promote it on an article in and out of the country." sagot nito.

I nooded. "How many models do you need?"

"5 models, I think. Actually, ikaw pa lang ang inoffer ko but I already posted on social media that we are hiring models for the endorsement, madami naman ang interesado but they need to comply the said requirements."

"What do you mean na ako lang ang in-offer mo? You personally chose me?"

Why can't my heart just slow its pace for a while?

"You can say that." he smiled.

Hindi na lang ako sumagot at ginala na lamang ang aking mata sa loob ng opisina niya. I heard him cleared his throat a little, nabibingi na din siya siguro sa katahimikan.

"Nyx, can we drop the formality?" mahinang sambit ni Ares which made me turn to look at him. "Let's talk about our past."
