"I love you."

After he said those words, I felt my heart beat more faster than before. Hindi ko na din alam kung ano ang sasabihin ko. I am still in a state of digesting everything that happened tonight.

we kissed and he said those three words.

"Hindi ka naman siguro lasing diba?" I asked him.

Ares shaked his head. "I told you, kakarating ko lang."

"How about Ella? Akala ko siya ang mahal mo." I blurted out.

"Akala ko din." he looked at me. "After we had our field trip, I broke up with her. I admit, naging gago ako kasi hindi kita pinaniwalaan noon but I heard mismo sa tropa mo na Ella is just using me for fame. I guess karma na 'yon sa'kin."

"Because you used me before?"

He nooded and smiled bitterly. "I am trapped by my own plan. I can't believe that I am slowly falling for you, Nyx."

"Kailan pa?"

"I don't know. Tama nga sila, you'll see the value of a person if they already left you." he sighed.

We are both staring at each other after he answered my question. I don't want to be bitter but I don't want to give him hope, I don't want him to know na may nararamdaman pa din ako sa kanya.

"I think, I should go home." I was about to walk away when he grabbed my arm which made me turn to him.

"Get in my car." he demanded.

Umiling agad ako. "I'll just take a taxi, hassle pa sa'yo."

"No, I'll take you home."

Hindi ko man lang namalayan na nasa gilid pala namin ang sasakyan niya. He opened the shot gun seat, I have no choice but to go inside and let him take me home.

The ride was very quiet until we reached our house, bumaba na agad ako sa sasakyan niya at bumaba din siya. I was about to ring the doorbell when he called my name.

Lumingon ako sa kanya. "What?"

"Good night. See you tomorrow." he smiled weakly. I just nooded as a reply and pressed the doorbell.

Nang nakapasok na ako sa bahay ay hindi na ako kumain. I felt full naman kaya diretso agad ako sa kwarto. I did my usual routine and lay on my bed.

I can't believe that he kissed me and the worst thing is that, I responded. I felt my cheeks heat up as I think about his soft lips but I quickly removed all my thoughts and think about what Ares said to my a while ago.
