THE STRIKE FORCE MEMBERS were all seated — and Lieutenant Defoe briefed them with an electronic-board filled with photos of the Hispanic family heads and their top generals working for the Cartel in Ohio. Sargent Roberta Jensen who was now serving in the plain-clothe Strike-force team was also at the briefing-room — with 4 other sergeants of this same unit. The Lieutenant spoke up...

"Our proposal of nabbing Hernando together with the Hispanic family at the meet-up point for the delivery — was rejected by the DEA."

The senior Sargent Marion who was seated beside Roberta spoke in agitation...

"What shit is this? I thought that we are the one who will make the strike on the Mexi-gang warlords at their rendezvous! Why the fuck has DEA gotta screw us over at own home-turf in Columbus? That Renee Osborn cunt has gone too far!"

The situation had been life-threatening at the CPD — where the death toll of dead police officers in Ohio killed by gangbangers was the third-highest amongst the cities in America. The Cartel trained Hispanic's shemales were the cunning jackals — inflicting their kills with minimal casualties on their side.

This current drug exchange by L.A. Chicanos' Hernando was the golden opportunity for the local Columbus police to avenge the death of the fallen uniforms by purging the Hispanic family heads — especially for Sargent Marion, whom recently lost her niece — who graduated three months ago from the police academy — but was gunned down in a highway drug-bust....

But, Roberta Jensen, was not interested in the department's Mexican standoff. Since everyone was going for the blood — and not the money — her hands itched on scoring the Oligarch's coke that was worth substantially at the black-market.

The superior officer responded to the gripes...

"Sorry Marion, this is the way it goes — the DEA has made it a federal investigation and have stepped into the op because it involves the high-level Oligarch connections — who are moving in to be the next Cartels — so it is no longer in our jurisdiction to nail the Ohio warlords at our receiving-end..."

Roberta heard more dissatisfied grumbles of the cops — denied of their wanting to play 'Cowboys and Indians.'

She had expected an outcome of the Mexican standoff where the coalition of —- CPD Strike Force, the DEA and the e-SWAT joint-forces to ambush and avenge on the Hispanics family heads for blood — while she would slip off to follow the lead of her trusted source — and then, ambuscade a hit on Hernando in the streets — to score their stolen drugs — without any suspicious DEA radar probing on her and her other partners-in-crime.

"...but the good news is that — our Strike Force has been called in for, as the DEA's back up to tail Hernando when he drives over to the meeting point, to deliver the coke to the family's heads. There are four possible routes that he might take — and even if things were to go south — we will intercept him in every possible exit where he takes off from..."

Defoe pointed back at the map on the board, of the exit points, and she added...

"Be vigilant and follow the lead set by the DEA — because Hernando should not get suspicious that he is been tailed on his way over for the drop. Our top priority is neither the drugs should fall in the hands of any of — the warlords, nor should Hernando escape with it, before sealing the delivery, is that all clear, guys?"

Roberta's heart sank when she heard the Lieutenant's latter comments in the briefing — the odds were now stacked up against her — where every member in the CPD was on the streets, combing the possibility of the 4 exits, to dragnet Hernando until to his final drop...

The DEA's leads too would not be reliable — as their intel would be on a need-to-know basis as they were reluctant to share their resources with CPD in the past, with their previous narcotic investigations — but, Roberta was a progressive black-hat in relying on her street-smart experiences to strategies — knowing that, based on a score of this magnitude, the deceitfully LA Chicanos would have to use 3 other separate, dummy identical cars of similar colour, make and license plates to divert the attention of the heat, into the false exit choices — while the equally sneakily DEA too, would make the CPD as their fools on the day of the op — through their erratic intel — to make the Strike-force chase the false leads, while the DEA team tailed Hernando solo on their own mark.

Defoe concluded...

"That is an awful lot of coke that Hernando will be transporting later — it is probably worth the value of 80 to 100 million big ones when it hits the street — let's not fuck it up, guys!"

Roberta was discontented but she had to comply with the direct orders given when the investigation became a federal's operation. It was a pity that it was happening in her own home-turf in Columbus — gone wasted too was the enormous high-level information, which she got 2 days ago from her reliable source prior of the actual happened LA Chicano's strike on the Oligarch cocaine — but now, the red-tape circumstances would also deny her in profiting from it.
