He let go of cassandra after a long, comfortable embrace.
"Thank you,Varian"
"Your welcome Cassie"
The two looked over too Rapunzel and saw her struggling to get off of the floor.
"Raps?"
Cassandra quickly stood and the two rushed to the princesses side.
"Princess! Are you ok?"
Rapunzel turned to face the voice. It was varians.
"I-im fine"
"Here, let me help you."
They all turned to see the voice. It was Eugene. He had his hand extended.
Rapunzel quickly took his hand rose to her feet and with out any thought smashed her lips onto his. They kissed passionately as the others started to rise.
"This is going to take a while to fix.."
The king gasped, looking at the ruins of his castle.
"Im sure we'll be fine, dear"
Arianna said taking his arm gazed at the castle, with sadness.
A couple weeks later
"Are you sure your fine varian?"
"Im fine Cass-"
He started coughing
"I'm fine Cassie"
"Varian, you're not well"
"I said I'm fine. Besides I need to work"
He said pointing at his blueprints. It was of parts of the castle they still had to fix.
"Yeahhhh no. Your going to rest"
"Cass I'm fine reall- WOOAHH!!!"
She picked him up and slung him over her shoulder.

"You need rest. We have many more staff to help fix things"
"Put me ddoowwwnn!!"
He said banging his fists into her back
"Nope!"
She smiled and walked down the halls to his room
"I'm not a child I can walk myself!"
He groaned
"Then stop acting like one"
"You think I act like a child?"
"Just look at yourself right now"
"There's no mirror"
There was no response. No sarcastic reply. Nothing.
"Cass?"
"Sshhhhh"
"What do you mean?"
She pointed to the door on the right
"Oohhhh"
It was Rapunzel's room. She had been having severe head pains so she was told to sleep.
Cassandra finally stopped outside of his room.
"Are you gonna put me down yet?"
"Nope"
She kicked the door open with ease and set him down on his bed.
"Now rest"
She walked out.
His hand had started to shake
That's weird...
He thought to himself
This eyes flashed white.
What the..?
He thought it was strange, like how is that normal? It isn't. What's the reason?
He continued to ponder as to why this was happening to him. His hands were shaking and he had a headache. Not to mention his eyes had flashed.
"This..there has to be a logical explanation...right?"
