Why cant every day
Feel like today,
Where every moment is the opposite
Of yesterday.
And every second
I'm feeling okay.
Not just down and out
My heart feels a lil less blackened
On days like today.
Moments like these
Are what it's about.
It's why we take our next steps
And push into positivity.
This little poem
is for those who aren't given it.
People that struggle,
People who feel like they're muzzled.
People like me.
People who are in a dark place
And feel like they're completely alone.
At least that's how I feel.

I lay here in bed,
Aching is my head
I cant take this any MORE
I cant sleep
I cant see
I cant feel
Yet I weep
I'm useless,
I'm afraid
I wish my thoughts could be tamed.
I wish they'd stop running marathons
I wish I had something to blame.
It's just me, I'm always thinking a ton,
Theres nothing I can do
I'm stuck here thinking about you.
