She was just a girl in love with the world,
In love with places she had never been before,
In love with the idea that adventures were just out there waiting to be had.

She had to go-
To feel the icy northern wind lash against her face while she climbed a mountain to its peak,

To lazily bathe alone in the sun's warmth on a Caribbean shore with no one around for miles and miles,

To see the halo of the Milky Way above as she lay beneath listening to the crackling of a campfire and elk calling from a distance,

To run over hills as full and lush as jade waves alive on a bright summer day,

To rest in her lover's arms while he sings in a hush about the venture they'd have the next day and the day after that,

To live and see and breathe and hope and dream.

She must, for it was her one truest wish since forever and ever, as long as she could remember.
