Kiyoko Aizawa's pov

All of the remedial kids were dead. Or at least that's what it looked like as they trained all day. I was just glad all the training was over for the day. I was so drained.

I wasn't allowed to chop vegetables anymore. I glanced around for things to do to help with dinner. Apparently they tried to take it from Bakugou and keep me on but he insisted I was the one kicked off. Uraraka and Kirishima took my place. I took the vegetables they had cut already and put them all into a pot. I tossed them to coat them evenly as Kirishima sighed at Bakugou defending himself against Uraraka.

"Are you alright Kirishima? You seem pretty out of it," I asked. He hummed and nodded.

"Yeah I'm fine. I'm sure Ashido told you all about the remedial classes. I'm just glad it's over for the day. I'm excited to just chill with you and Bakugou. Take it easy for a bit," Kirishima replied. I giggled and agreed. I took another round of vegetables from Bakugou and Uraraka. I took Kirishima's and saw we reached a halfway point. I took the pot over to the cooks and set it with them. Midoriya and Todoroki thanked me.

Finally, time to just have fun with my class.

After people yelling with each other about partners I ended up with Ojiro. I shrugged my shoulders.

"Well I mean, I'll be good as a scarer. Jump scares don't really scare me anymore, just physical contact," I told him. "I'm not that bad of a partner."

"Well, I'm glad to have you as a partner. I hope you can say the same," Ojiro replied.

Uraraka and Tsu went into the forest together. I stood and talked with Ojiro. I turned to Pixie-Bob, who was actively sniffing the air.

"Something is burning," she said. I looked at the land to find a small could of smoke subtly rising. A blue glow appeared from underneath. I looked at the path. Uraraka. Tsu. The fire was far, but it was still in that general direction. The fire could easily spread.

"I'm going to get people on the path," I said, taking off. Pixie-Bob yelled for me to stop but she was suddenly flown into a pillar. Someone with big lips and a muscular build was holding it. I booked it into a forest. This was no doubt the League. I sprinted down the path looking for them. I saw a tiny flash of red and suddenly my mind was hijacked.

'This is a message from Mandalay! Class A and B, you are given permission to use your quirks to defend against the villains. I repeat, you are permitted to engage in necessary combat!'

Oh god, this might be worse than I expected. If we can use out quirks, that means that these are most likely no bar passers.

My mind flashed back to Hosu. Begging that my time wasn't limited, I sprinted until I saw the two. Uraraka was bleeding on her left arm, a girl who looked around our age smiled at them with a knife.

"You two are super cute. Uraraka, Asui," she stopped. We made eye contact. "Orchid! I've heard so much about you!"

"That's really great," I growled. 'Toga' as she called herself pulled out some sort of sucking device and charged the two. Not knowing what her quirk was, I placeboed it and 'broke' her legs. Tsu swung Uraraka around and got her away. Toga went into a tuck and roll and sat on the ground, dealing with the pain.

"Kiyoko, do you know who this is?" Tsu asked me.

"I have no idea, Tsu. I've never seen her at the bar before," I replied. Toga sighed. We looked at her.

"Tsu..." Toga said. She turned to Tsu. "Tsu! That's such a cute nickname, I think I'll call you that too!"

"Please don't call me that," Tsu said. Toga threw a needle at me that I narrowly avoided. I looked back up to see two more in my direction. After a few seconds, both my braids were pinned to a tree. Tsu's hair was also pinned to a tree. I could barely see Tsu over the brush in my way. I watched Uraraka jump down to what I could only assume was Toga. I tried to see through the brush but to no avail. They yelled things to each other. I head Toga mumble things and then the two of them gasp in shock. I wanted to scream, I couldn't do anything. I could see anyone except Tsu so I couldn't use my quirk to help Uraraka. I growled in frustration when I suddenly felt a chilly breeze underneath my feet. I felt the weight off my braids as I was standing on an ice pillar. Todoroki arrived next to me and pulled the devices that pinned me against the tree.

"We gotta help them," I said leaping off the ice pillar. We met with Shoji and Midoriya who were almost there. The four of us watched as Toga jumped off Uraraka and let Tsu down.

"There's too many people here now and I don't feel like being killed tonight. Toodles," she muttered. She gasped and ran away.

Midoriya told us about his plan to protect Bakugou and get him back to camp. I raised an eyebrow at him and Tsu did the honors of pointing out that he was nowhere to be found.

"Nice trick, eh?" A voice from up ahead said. He began a monologue as he and Midoriya had a back and forth. I placeboed his quirk, not knowing what 'trick' he might pull next.

Todoroki shot ice and he jump away. He pulled out another marble. Tokoyami. Another wave of ice and he was blasting himself in the air. He went on with a monologue as he called for the villains to disperse.

As we sprinted after, we came up with a plan. Uraraka made Shoji, Midoriya, Todoroki, and I float. I stayed on Shoji's back. Holding on tight to his shoulders. We went up and around and forward. We hurdled in the sky getting closer to the magic man. We slammed into him and I felt a certain pressure on me. Gravity. We began to fall as the magic man screamed. We slammed into the ground using him to break our fall.

"Out of the way Compress," A very scarred villains said. I saw a blue flame appear. I placeboed his quirk as quickly as possible. A quick blue shot fired at us before it died down relatively quick. I felt the heat pass by me as I ducked on the ground. I looked at the man who I felt like I had seen his face before, but not quite. I couldn't put my finger on it.

'There she is. Misaki said she'd be trouble,'

I glanced around at my surroundings. Toga leaped on top of Midoriya and held a knife above him. I gasped and immediately drop kicked her off of him. She went flying to the side as she regained her balance.

Todoroki fought with the jumpsuit man who seemed to have two personalities as Compress popped out of his marble. He and the familiar one talked, making sure he had Bakugou. He reached into his pocket as gasped in confusion as he found nothing.

"Todoroki, we're done here," Shoji said quickly, holding up the marbles. I looked at them in shock. How could he have...

"Well color me impressed!" He shouted. He acted so casual, but that was their entire plan. To kidnap Bakugou. I glared at Compress.

'I'll just let them think they've bested me. Let the kids have a temporary victory,'

"Wait!" I shouted at the three already running. The stopped and turned to me. "That's not them."

They all turned to look at me. They began asking questions that were immediately cut off by Kurogiri's entrance.

A few villains went in the portal. The familiar one and Compress stayed behind. Compress still looked at me from my previous statement. "Where are they?" I asked him. He chuckled.

"Allow me to explain a basic tenant of magic. If I'm flaunting something shiny, it's because there's something else I don't want you to see," he smirked. He took off his mask to reveal two marbles on his tongue. He snapped his fingers to reveal ice from Shoji's captured marbles. He backed away into the portal. I began to sprint after him. He took a fatal bow that set him in the path of a giant laser. He coughed up the marbles. Shoji went for the right marble, Todoroki for the left. I went for him. Shoji snatched the marble. I watched as the familiar one grabbed the marble right out from underneath Todoroki.

"That's sad, Todoroki Shoto," he simply said. I hitched a gasp at his statement and stumbled on my sprint. The way he addressed him...

I fell on my knees. Compress released the two of them. Bakugou appeared in the familiar one's hand. I got up to get him. The familiar one put out his hand and shot blue flames at me. I placeboed his quirk and jumped out of the way as best I could. I felt a sting on my right arm, but kept going. I leaped for Bakugou as I heard Midoriya sprint up behind me.

"Don't come, Deku," Bakugou said softly. I felt my hand brush across the cool air of the warp that I knew all too well. Suddenly it was gone. I fell to the ground, the ghost of the feel of the warp tracing my hand. I sat there on my hands and knees, looking at the ground. I felt my eyes sting a little bit. I couldn't move for the life of me. I heard the crackle of burning wood. The hitched gasps of Midoriya. The light wind. Suddenly Midoriya screamed. I stood in place as I heard his scream of anguish.

We lost.
