Kiss the Lips and Last Forever

Kiss the lips of death herself.

Grabbed a rope and hung her up.

Saw the bottle, took the pills.

Washed her face and drowned herself.

Got the blade to slit her wrist.

You feel this all inside Death's kiss.

The fear.

The blood.

The tears.

The hate.

Not for others,

 but selfish ways.

She now took herself apart,

every piece of broken heart,

the ones you tried to mend together,

glue unstuck and

thread was cut.

She took herself apart from you,

in hopes that she could keep you true.

But, alas, you're broken now.

You switched your heart for hers somehow.

She's gone, but she's put back together,

leaving you broken forever.
