There are words for everything.
Words in different languages,
words in every painting,
words in deafening silence.
These words can be used for different things.
They can be love.
Courage.
Hate.
Pain.
It's your choice.
Words hurt more than sticks and stones.
Even words of love
can hurt another.
Words of hate
can bring one joy.
But pain is different.
People believe they enjoy sharing pain
until it is described to them
in vivid waves of blades
and lighters
and lakes.
They see pictures
and stories.
They think they know pain
until their eyes are opened
and they read words.
Words of understanding.
Words of finality.
