Falling for Words

When I'm standing near the heavens
And I'm looking down I see
There are all these different people
Who are looking back at me

I felt the wind as it caught in my lungs
Like a corset pulling tighter
And as I look down I feel my mind
Growing dizzy and even lighter

But I can't look away
Even blinking would ruin
The feeling of falling apart
And since I hold together
Better than the dainty flower
I start yearning for holes in my heart

And through endless fog
It's hard not to see
As those glowing green eyes
Are pleading with me

But who could say no
To the pretty soft voice
Whispering your faults
Like you don't have a choice

I could jump
I could fall
I could lean slightly forward
But it would never matter
To the matter of being helpless
And the idea of falling for words
