I hear your voice
I jump out of bed
I know life is perfect.
Safe in your arms
Till the day I die,
This is my life now
Until I wake up again.
Every morning
Safe in bed.
I wake up to find you
Were there through the night
And I had no doubt
That I was safe
And I live this fantasy
Until I wake up again.
No one to hurt me,
To make me fear
That every thought I get's
Just a mistake again.
Only one person
To make me feel
Like all of my dreams
Can come true
When I wake up.
But then I do.
My dreams slip away once more
And alone I lay
Thinking of you as
I watch my bright world turn gray,
Cold and alone again,
Why can't they see,
You're where I want to be.
Next time I wake up
I won't be alone anymore.
My dreams can come true
If I make them then maybe
I'll finally have you
Once I wake up again.
