After a few weeks, Avisti was fine. His eye had healed which put me in a very rare good mood. A few weeks after as said, I was a lone again, but I was used to it. My Hive was pretty isolated. Which was a desision not made by me or my lusus. But someone else....a man maybe? It had been long since I thought about him, the most recent memory I had of him is when he died....
I shook that thought away, in thinking about my younger, scared self. I felt bad for her. I also knew today would be a different day. I just had the feeling.

I had know idea what I just go my self into.
But it was a big mistake

You are now UNINAH MARYAM. And you are BLIND as said in the introductory. In your hive, you have hundreds among hundreds of different colors. You can "hear" these colors. All of them sound different to you. You remember being trained to use hearing as your sight when it was taken from you when you weren't even a sweep old. Your ears are you eyes as you could say.
You can hear people frowning because it sounds like a click. You know when people are happy because it is a high pitch ring. Your different but that does not matter. You prefer not to see. Because if you could see, you would hate the sun. The sun shines in your hive brightly and you love the warmth it gives you.
You do not wear shoes because you make sure everything is clean and everything is clean. You have a sense of fashion and make your own clothes with the assortment of colors you are offered. The dress you where now is made of old fabric from a long time ago. It is red and had golden beads on it. You had made such a beautiful dress out of it. And you wear it all of the time. Your husk top beeps a message, might as well answer....
