Forgive Me or Let Me Go

The tears fall freely from my eyes,

I swore you would never make me cry.

Yet here we are the time has come,

You are telling me that we are done.

My mind laughs with "I told you so,

Now tell him bye and let us go.

We don't need him, time to move on,

He wont even notice you're gone."

But my heart keeps my feet in place

As tears stream down my puffy face

I turned my back so you can't see,

How your actions are effecting me.

-

I can't run from what is true,

How this ends is up to you.

I am sorry I need you so,

Please forgive me or let me go...
