What does 'Fate' do for our lives,
And what part does she play?
Does she dictate our every motions,
Or whisper the words we say?
Will she sit on our shoulder and wait,
Just to say "Now is not your time.."?
Is she going to linger till we realize,
Life gets altered on a dime.
Fate can be cruel or she can great,
But to neither will she be bound.
In one moment you are rising to the top,
The next you may tumble to the ground.
When things go wrong Fate gets the blame,
For being herself and doing her job.
We have to understand that it is what it is,
And she gets her orders straight from God.
