Like a puckered up blown kiss or two
A song you sang, or a poem you wrote
A written letter, a story, even a note

The pictures that you drew for me
Even the ones you didn't want me to see

From that very first "Hi" *waves bashfully* I knew
I wanted little pieces here and there
That show me how much you really care

Little things that remind me of you
And all the little things that you do
Like the way you cuddle when you sleep
Or how in the water you never go to deep
The way you poke my nose and pull back fast
The way you cheer for me and make me laugh
The way you know when something is wrong
And how you boost my spirits to make me strong
The silly little cat and wolf games that we play
Is something I look forward to everyday
The way you try to hide what is really going on
The way you are always here to bring in the new dawn
How you pulled me out of the forbidden dark
And how you fight me for that Kent named Clark
The way you make my world whole and complete
I would have none of this if we didn't meet
All of this and so much more
All of you I truly adore
Little pieces of you I keep in a special place
In this little chest wrapped with love and lace

You are a treasure I have found
So when they place me in the ground
Holding tightly to my breast
I will have you in my treasure chest
