Maya switches off the camera as she quickly goes to the bathroom catching her breathe. She has had probably some of the most worst morning sickness in the world and strange enough it doesn't get better. It was now a week later since she and Josh went to Philadelphia and Maya had a doctor's appointment later the afternoon which she wa svery scared about. She also knew she wanted Josh to be there ebut he was so busy with studying that she doesn't think he'll make it.
"Maya," Sofia said and Maya smiled. "Hey, how's it going?" Maya asked. "Good. Josh told us. Congratulations," Sofia said and Maya knew what she was referring to. "Thanks. Wow, this is definitely twice as hard as I expected," Maya said as she sat down. "I know you must feel a bit overwhelmed. But you're gonna have a child. I can't believe that you are really having one. How you feeling?" Sofia asked. "Nausea is very, very, very bad. Probably the worst in a bit. I have a doctor's appointment later this afternoon and I really do want Josh to come but he's just so busy," Maya said. "Nag him. That boy needs it," Sofia said and Maya smiled. "You'll be fine. Just tell me if you need help with anything," Sofia said and was gone.
Maya smiled as she opened up the locket around her neck. She smiled as the picture as she closed it yet again. She knew it would be hard but she'll just have to make it work.

Later the afternoon Maya was at the doctor's office while the doctor pulled everything close. She put gel on Maya's stomach and looked at her.
"Is the father going to be joining us?" "No," Maya said shaking her head. "Yes," Josh said and Maya turned to him. "How did you know?" Maya asked. "You told me last week," Josh said leaning over. "I'm so happy you're here, Josh," Maya said. "Iw wouldn't miss this for the world," Josh said as he light stroke over Maya's cheek as they heard something beat. "That's your baby's heart beat," the doctor said and Maya smiled. "How far is she?" Josh asked. "Four weeks. It's still very early." "You're beautiful," Josh said giving Maya a soft kiss.
