Chapter 14

It was a few days later and now Maya was just starting to get a hold of everything.
She was balancing things between her and Josh good with her job and schoolwork even though she knows she is going to burn out some time or another.
She was actually getting rid of a lot of her old clothes and so while she did have the time on her own.
Suddenly she heard her phone ring and sees it's Josh.

"Hey, what's going on?" Maya asked.
"What about Joseph is an idiot?" Josh said and Maya smiled.
"What's the matter, Honey?" Maya asked in a flirty voice.
"Nothing much. Just him being yet again stupid. Nothing new. What are you doing?" Josh asked.
"Nothing much. Trying to come up with a video idea for Tuesday but that can wait," Maya said as she laid down on bed.
"I'm really proud of you, Maya. Your last one was really good and Sofia can't stop talking about it so..."
"I'm glad then. I have to go. I'll call you later. Bye."

Maya sighed as she was so embarrassed at what she just said.
She doesn't know how she is going to get over Josh because clearly seeing each other wasn't the same as Maya thought it was.
Just some kind of way to keep in touch.
Not romantically like she hoped.
