Right after Eric had cleared the stall and left the pavilion, one of the man who bought the potion quickly rushed to his boss. He had learnt quite a big information that will definitely intrigue his boss.

As he ran off, there was someone who was watching him from a top of the buildings.

"Aren't you going to do something about him?" <???>

"Hm? Why would I? It's just what I wanted to happen. When that guy finds out about this, he will definitely do whatever it takes to ruin Guardian. And once he makes his move, I too can intervene and have my fun." <???>

The guy had a wicked smile as he thought of the events to happen in the future. The woman beside him just smiled at him.

...

The man named Hilbert finally reached the building where his boss is. He entered and went straight for his office.

"Boss!!! I've got an urgent news to report!" <Hilbert>

"What is it!? Hilbert it better be good that you had to interrupt me! Come, spill it!" <???>

The person that was called boss is non other than Harold Bastorn. The owner of Fortuneprise.

He was busily doing his paperworks when suddenly one of his subordinate came rushing into his room and disturbed his concentration.

"Boss! This is serious! I saw..." <Hilbert>

"You saw? Saw what!? Just say it already!" <Harold Bastorn>

"...I saw Eric. Your son, Boss." <Hilbert>

"What!?" <Harold Bastorn>

Harold couldn't believe what he was told. But at the same time, his useless of a son is plausible to be seen since he should be wandering around the Capital like an insect.

"So? Why should I care if you saw him? He's no longer my son. I don't care about him anymore." <Harold Bastorn>

"No! That's not the issue, the thing is... Your son, was setting up a stall at the pavilion and was selling something incredible!" <Hilbert>

"What...?" <Harold Bastorn>

This isn't something funny that Harold should just brush off.

"Are you sure?" <Harold Bastorn>

"Yes!" <Hilbert>

"What was he selling that was incredible?" <Harold Bastorn>

"Not only was it an incredible thing, but it's also a miracle! He was selling potions!" <Hilbert>

"Potions? That's it? If that's so, he must be desperate to earn a living. Those potions are most probably fake and defects." <Harold Bastorn>

When he heard about potions, Harold wasn't bothered. Potions can be made by anyone, as long as they have the ingredients. The only thing that makes good is their quality and effects. Knowing his useless son, it's probably nothing like that.

"That's not it, Boss! Those potions he sold, they are not what you think! They're basically miracle potions!" <Hilbert>

"Miracle? What miracle?" <Harold Bastorn>

"I saw it with my own eyes! Those potions could recover a missing leg!" <Hilbert>

"What!? Are you sure!?" <Harold Bastorn>

"Yes! Everyone who saw that were as surprised as I was. Right after that, everyone came rushing towards him to buy his potions. I manage to get one myself. Maybe Boss can use it as research." <Hilbert>

Hilbert took out a bottle of potion from his bag and handed it to Harold. He received it and carefully examined the potion.

"It does look very exquisite. Good job. You will be fairly rewarded for providing me this useful information." <Harold Bastorn>

Hearing that, hilbert was all smiles. But he had one more information to give.

"One more thing, Boss! He also said that he now owns a merchant company called Guardian. And that the potions was one of the things his company made. A new product." <Hilbert>

"What did you say? He created his own merchant company? How was he able to do that?" <Harold Bastorn>

"I don't know. But it doesn't seem to be a lie. He was well-dressed, and exuded a classy aura. It seems like the person who was once under you as your son." <Hilbert>

Hearing Hilbert say that, Harold began to speculate that the potion he was selling was the reason that he was doing well. His curse must have been lifted with that potion. The only thing that is a mystery was how did he obtain it? This was what Harold wants to know most.

"This is a mystery indeed... Then, I will make a summon to investigate this! Be ready to get on it ASAP!" <Harold Bastorn>

"Yes, Boss!" <Hilbert>

Hilbert left the office and quickly make the arrangements. Leaving Harold alone, as he ponder about his abandoned son.

...

"Well done, Eric. That was a good way to introduce our merchant company." <Shin>

When Eric returned to the company building, Shin greeted him at the lobby.

"Ah, Boss! Thank you very much! However, about the start-" <Eric>

"It couldn't be helped. Even I didn't saw that coming. But still, because of it, it made the development faster and also allowed something interesting to happen." <Shin>

Thinking about it again, Shin got a little excited again.

"Something interesting...? What is it?" <Eric>

"You'll find out soon. It's only a matter of time." <Shin>

Eric was curious of what his boss was talking about, but he didn't want to pry too much if he doesn't want to say it. If his boss isn't bothered by it, then it's probably something that is manageable.

"You should prepare for tomorrow. I'm sure it's gonna be a busy day. I will be around if anything extreme happens." <Shin>

"Sure thing, Boss! Leave it to me! I won't disappoint you. I'll make sure Guardian will become a success. And then it will overthrow Fortuneprise!" <Eric>

"Yes. That's the idea." <Shin>

After their conversation ended, Eric left. He didn't want to waste his Boss's time, since he's quite the busy person.

"Well then, it's time to move on to the next operation..." <Shin>

Shin began thinking on how to kick start his next operation.
