Chapter 68: Good News, Bad News.

"Boss, Boss!" <George>

George came rushing into the office of his boss.

"What is it!? Quit making a ruckus at this timing!" <Harold>

Harold was currently doing some paperworks, and since he had been doing it for the past 2 hours, he had grown abit irritated. Resulting in the annoying answer to George's shouting.

"I did it! I finally caught that girl!" <George>

"Really!? Great! Where is she now?" <Harold>

"I've locked her inside the cage in the dungeon of the secret store." <George>

"Good! Keep her there. Now that we have her, we can use her to threaten Eric. But, let's wait for awhile." <Harold>

"Why Boss? The faster the better!" <George>

"Fool! We should take it slow. Let a few days pass and make him panic. The more he does, the more desperate he will get. And when he's at his limit, he will undoubtedly give in." <Harold>

"Haha! That's a great idea, Boss! Depraving him will make the victory the sweetest!" <George>

George fullly agreed with the plans that his boss thought up.

"Continue sending people to survey his company so that we know how he's doing. When it's the right time, we will contact him." <Harold>

"Got it, Boss!" <George>

George hurriedly left the office to began their next operation. Leaving Harold with a sinister smile on his face, as his mind wander off to the future of his company.

Back at Shin's mansion, the news of Misomi's disappearance finally reached Maya.

"How did this happen!? What do you mean my daughter is missing!? " <Maya>

Maya was in desperation after hearing that her daughter went missing from Layla.

"I'm sorry... It's my fault for not sticking close to her the whole time." <Layla>

"Misomi..." <Maya>

Maya wanted to blame Layla, but because she isn't the type to blame anyone, it was hard for her to vent out her frustration. She could only cry and pray that Misomi is safe.

"I'll contact Shin-Sama to inform him of Misomi's disappearance... Maybe he's done with his quest and can return fast to search for Misomi." <Layla>

As Layla said that, her voice was trembling. She knows what his reaction would be. Adolf who was beside her, also know what's gonna happen.

"Are you sure? Now that I know that Misomi is important to him, he would be very furious when he finds out. Why don't I contact him for you? I'll take the blame in your place." <Adolf>

Adolf tried to console Layla.

"No. This is my fault, so I should be the one to tell him. Besides, only I can contact him through the insignia." <Layla>

"Alright. Don't get too worked up. I'll go out and search around again." <Adolf>

"Yes. Thank you." <Layla>

Adolf quickly left the place, while Layla prepared herself to contact Shin.
