Hello! I hope everyone is doing good. I got this idea when a co-worker's child got diagnosed recently with dengue fever. I worked on this on the sly, basically a filler chapter.

Maine frowned. She's currently on the make up chair with Juan Sarte for a series of commercial and print shoots for Anmum Materna. She just received a text from Mama Ten that RJ is complaining of a bad headache and feeling tired, achy muscles and had asked to go home. Her husband hasn't been feeling well for the last two days. He in fact was running an on and off fever since yesterday. She wanted to cancel her engagement today but he insisted that he's fine, and to prove that he went to work at EB today. "So much for being fine.." she muses, looks at and rubs her baby bump "Your father is one stubborn man."
M: *calls R* Love? I just got a message from Mama Ten. Are you feeling any better? Nilalagnat ka pa din ba?
R: Tingnan mo yung taong yun, sabi ko ng wag sabihin eh. *talks to MT off the phone* Ikaw lagot ka sakin mamya ba't mo sinabi kay Meng?"
M: *interrupts* Never mind that Love! Mama Ten knows that she has to tell me or else. Ikaw ang tinatanong ko, nilalagnat ka pa ba?
R: Nothing too worry about love, just a bit of headache. Uminom na ko ng gamot tapos tutulog ko lang. Sunduin kita mamya eh. Idlip lang ako.
M: Are you sure? Wag ka ng sumundo. Matulog ka nalang.
R: I'm pretty sure, mamya wala na to. Sunduin kita.
M: Sure ka ha. Sige rest muna and take a nap. Wag ka munang lumapit ng matagal sa mga bata ha. Baka flu na yan eh.
R: Yes Ma, I know. Sige na andito na ko sa bahay. I'll see in a few. Tawagan kita pag paalis na ko.
M: Okay, sleep well. I love you..
R: I love you more. See you later. *hungs up*
Three hours later:
M: *tries calling R* Naku, mukhang napasarap na ang tulog. *calls the housephone instead* Ate Pe, si RJ ba tulog pa?
Yaya Pe: Di ko pa nakita lumabas ng kwarto mula nung umuwi kanina. Saka yung aircon naka on naririnig ko sa labas yung makina. Susunduin ka ba? Gisingin ko?
M: Sabi nya kanina eh pero wag mo ng gisingin, masama parin pakiramdam nyan kanina kaya umuwi masakit daw ulo nya. Sige po pauwi na ko, andito naman ang van. Ang mga bata ba kumain na?
YP: Kakain palang, alas sais palang naman. Pahintayin na kita?
M: Hindi na baka ma traffic ako. Rush hour na. Ako nalang magpaligo pagdating ko.
YP: Ay may delivery pala dito kanina yung crib na inorder nyo. Pina akyat ko na sa nursery ng baby. Excited naman kayo masyado. *laughs*
M: Ay ayan! Tingnan ko mamya. Syempre excited sa wakas magkakaron na tayo ng baby girl. *chuckles*
YP: Kita ko nga yung picture may pa kulambo pa parang prinsesa. *chuckles* Sige na, pakainin ko na mga anak mo. Mag ingat pauwi ha.
M: Canopy ang tawag dun. Si RJ may gusto para sa prinsesa nya. Sige po, salamat Ate Pe.

M: *checks on R as soon as she arrives home* Love..
R: *wakes up* Huh? *immediately sits up* Anong oras na?? Sorry Ma, sorry! Napahaba tulog ko! Ba't di mo ko pinagising? Sinong sumundo sayo?
