M: We got a year of wedded bliss then it's organized chaos eversince *chuckles*
JS: But do you still take time for yourselves alone?
M: Oh yes, we still go out on dates na kaming dalawa lang. Planning lang talaga, lalo na before when the kids were smaller, pahirapan. But we make sure we still have "me" times too. He goes out with his friends, I go out with mine, and we go out with our common friends. Not very often though but kelangan din yun, otherwise malulunod ka talaga. Ours is one very busy household. It's not easy juggling married life, two working careers, businesses and kids. It takes a lot of sweat, blood, toil and tears.
R: And love, patience and understanding. Lots and lots of it!
JS: What's the major adjustments since getting married? Anong pinag aawayan nyo madalas?
M: My husband is very OC sa mga gamit. Ganun din naman ako but he's much worse. The bed has to be fixed a certain way, mga gamit sa bathroom, eh minsan ako pag nagmamadali naiiwan ko yung gamit sa may sink, or sa make up table ko, ayaw nya yun.
Things has to be placed in a certain way. It irritates me pag naiiba.
M: In fairness naman to him, nag ease up na ng konti since we had the kids. And we have six kids, imagine kung gaano kadaming toys yun.
I have them disinfect the toys din. Pati yung rooms lahat malinis dapat.
M: Well, this one I've known since mag bf/gf palang kami. Maaga syang nagigising. He wakes up at 5 or 6am. Ako patulog palang nun *chuckles* When the kids were younger we synchronize our times kasi we have to adhere sa feeding schedules ng babies.
R: You wake up early na din naman Mommy, since the kids started school. Maaga ka na din natutulog kasi the kids doesn't like to sleep pag di ka katabi.
M: Well yeah, kaya nga madalas sa room natin sila natutulog. *chuckles* Oh we discovered we like to play golf!
R: Kasalanan ni Bossing yun eh! *laughs* It started mga five years ago nahila ako ni bossing. I started playing and I enjoyed it so minsan sinama ko sya maglaro and she liked it.
M: You know me, I'm not a sporty person. Pagkatamad ko kaya sa mga ganyan. I was surprised na nagustuhan ko sya kaya now we play together for fun.
R: And our twins play too! Sumasali na sila sa junior golf competitions. So proud of all my kids! Like si Kuya Thirdy is on the fencing team and basketball varsity, Kuya Theo is on the swim team and varsity basketball player din. Aycee is a member ng Taekwondo and cheerleading team, nasa dance din sya for ballet and she also plays Lacrosse. Seb and Sieg are excelling in golf and soccer. Chuchay also just started on gymnastics and tennis and also dances ballet and nag ice skating din. And they still keep good grades sa academics. One very proud Dad here! *points to himself and grins*
M: *smiles* Very proud kami! Sobrang daming sports that they excel in.
JS: Ang galing! And speaking of kids, When we get back after this break makakasama na natin ang mga anak nila Maine at Alden. Kaya mga kapuso, tutok lang! *cuts into commercial*
