(A/N: the next origin story; Ryland enlightened the group by deciding to tell the story of how Aaron and Shane became partners since he was there).
Aaron gulped walking to the entrance of the academy. "I don't know why I'm here". "I'm a ninja, not a YouTube dreamer" he said. He walked to the orientation and sat down. He watched the whole thing and soon classes began. He didn't feel connected to anyone because Ilene wasn't with him and Nikita noticed. Nikita went to safiya a bit and pulled her aside. Safiya nodded listening to Nikita.
When Nikita's class ended the students were ready to leave. "Mr wice stay please" she said. Aaron stopped and waited. Once the class was gone he looked at Nikita nervously. "Come here sir" she said. Aaron came down and looked at Nikita and Safiya. "You don't seem to be connecting with anyone, is something on your mind?" Asked safiya. Aaron sighed and looked down.
"I'm here alone without my partner, and I don't know why I was sent here, I'm a ninja not someone wanting to be a YouTuber" added Aaron. Nikita was thinking a bit. "Don't feel used to this territory, ok let me try something" added Nikita. She got a piece of paper out and wrote something down before handing it over to Aaron. He took it confused. "Can you meet Safiya in the courtyard this weekend?" She asked. "Uhhh I guess, but what for?" Asked Aaron. "I'll tell you when you find me" added Safiya.
Aaron raised an eyebrow but shrugged saying ok and left. "You sure he will be a good recruit for what we're doing in secret?" Asked Safiya. "That's what we'll find out" added Nikita. That weekend Aaron decided to follow the note and came out to the courtyard spotting Safiya waiting. "What's with the 70's look?" Asked Aaron noticing Safiya was dressed in her investigative reporter outfit but it had a fish hook shaped hole in it. "Felt it would be better to wear this, come on" added Safiya. She led Aaron away and the duo entered this secret area leading into an underground headquarters. Aaron was wide eyed seeing everything around him.
"What is this place?" He asked. "Welcome to Digimax headquarters" added Nikita coming over. "Wait what you two are doing this?" Asked Aaron wide eyed. "We set this up after a mission we did together, there's an enemy team forming called Shadowsteel because something has corrupted a lot of youtubers starting with pewdiepie, you said you didn't feel like you fit in so you're a crime fighter aren't you?" Asked Nikita after explaining. Safiya joined her nodding. "Actually.... Yeah, I'm one half of a gem ninja duo and we have worked with people before to help save the world" added Aaron. Nikita and Safiya grinned hearing that. Aaron looked at them confused a bit.
"We were thinking you could be a part of the team, and help in destroying this enemy group" added Nikita. "Wait, really?" Asked Aaron grinning. "I'm in, and I'm set!" Added Aaron. "Well hold on there's still one thing, you will have to get a YouTuber partner" added Safiya. "I do?" Asked Aaron. "Members of digimax all are partnered with a YouTuber to bring out hidden personas in battle, Safiya is actually mine, becoming nyyghtguard when fighting" responded Nikita. "That's sounds cool!!!!" Exclaimed Aaron. The two women laughed.
"How would I even get one?" Asked Aaron. "Well, you'll have to pick an area of YouTube to master in first, but I believe a fellow student can help" responded Nikita. "Wait... That girl who was chatting with a brunette male by any chance?" Asked Aaron. "That's Bri knight and Matpat" responded Safiya. Aaron nodded a bit. He then met with the duo and he decided to master in the vlog category. "Ok, let's go find a partner" added Bri. The duo with Mat got to know each other as he joined them for a mission.
They went to this house and Ryland is seen running out. "What's the problem?" Asked Mat. "I'm not sure what it is but something weird has gotten to Morgan and Garrett, Shane's in hiding" added ryland. "Aaron you go use your skills and find Shane, we'll handle a distraction" added Bri. Aaron nodded and quickly left to a shadow spot to start. "New player access" stated Bri and Aaron and ryland and Aaron saw Mat suddenly vanish. "Matpatman game on!" Added Bri before Mat reappeared now in this super hero uniform. Aaron grinned excited diving into the house.
He snuck around before noticing someone hiding under this table. "Are you Shane?" Asked Aaron quietly. Shane was confused a bit. "We were told you're hiding here" added Aaron. Shane crawled over shaking. "Is... Ryland ok?" He asked. "I guess that's the guy who ran out" added Aaron. He and Shane escaped and were ok.
"Aaron catch!" Yelled Bri, before she threw something to him. Aaron caught it before putting the wristband on. "What's this for?" He asked. "Wait... A digimax bracelet, so you're a new addition" added Shane. Aaron nodded a bit. "Um.. But I lack a partner, maybe you?" Asked Aaron. Shane pulled back shaking his head. "I can immediately tell we're from different backgrounds, I wouldn't fit to be a partner" responded Shane doubting himself.
Ryland came over and talked with Shane. Aaron waited quietly and shrugged. He decided to try fighting with his own skills and used the sapphire abilities to hold Morgan and Garrett off. The duo watched impressed on Aaron holding his own. Shane looked at Ryland scared a bit. Shane ran to Aaron when he saw the ninja get knocked aside. "Ok... Let me help you" added Shane. The duo took each others hand before Aaron's bracelet glowed.
"I may have a character or two you can choose" added Shane. "New challenger enter" stated Aaron. Shane suddenly vanished. "Um.. Shane has multiple personas!" Called Aaron. "What, that's a first, ok cycle and pick one!" Added Bri. Aaron checked and found an interesting one. "Rainbow Dawson game on!" He said. The persona was summoned and both Shane and Ryland were shocked.
"Help out matpatman" added Shane. "Got it" added rainbow Dawson. He assisted and freed Shane and Ryland's friends. "Nice work!" Added matpatman impressed. Bri and Aaron told game over and the personas changed back. Shane, Ryland, Morgan and Garrett were brought in the academy safely but Shane stayed with Aaron. Nikita and Safiya agreed they made a good choice picking him.
(AN: finally finished the next part! I'm so sorry. School started so it makes it harder! But now Aaron's is done.
