Anika was freaking out when she saw it was time to fight. "I-i can't do that!!!!!" She said. She looked at Ronnie. "Relax, I get you're nervous but no need, you'll be fine and just do your best" he said. Anika nodded and stood ready. Ronnie summoned his partner who was a lady in this heroine uniform that looked like a fox. Anika looked at the bracelet. "You do know the summon right?" Asked Ronnie.
Anika exhaled and nodded. She activated it. The words challenger ready came on screen before anika mimicked what she remembers her sister did. "Game on Matpatman" she said. The bracelet glowed before the persona suddenly appeared from a pillar of green digital light. He looked at them. "You're supposed to be dead... And... Stephanie?" He asked seeing the duo. "Consider this just a spar" added Ronnie.
"Let's do it" added anika. She and matpatman worked together in sparring them. "Battle of the theorists!" Added anika. "Hell yes!" Added matpatman. "Don't hold back on me Matthew" added Stephanie teasingly. Anika was doing the right guiding to make this spar work. Aaron was watching with the remaining students in the audience on each match. "They're all doing good" he heard one student say.
Others were complimenting as well. Some were stunned now knowing that one of them was Bri's sister. *"as long as I don't use the digibond, I'll be fine "* anika told herself. *" last thing I need is for everyone to stare at me like I'm a weirdo.... "* she added to herself sadly. Matpatman was on guard. " I could use a swap! " he called to anika. Anika looked and nodded. "Initiate swap!" She called.
She was given this digital spinning wheel and she used it. She saw it land on Madpat. "Ok, time to go evil, activate dark YouTuber mode" she said. Purple light suddenly surrounding matpatman before he now was in these dark jeans, black shirt, purple jacket and dark shoes. His skin tone had gone pale and his eye color was red. "I did not see that coming" added Ronnie. "ℓєт'ѕ ∂αи¢є..." Added madpat. The duo still battled.
Anika showed the new courage before the clock ran out. The spar matches were over. The results were listed stunning anika when it showed she and matpatman were less damaged. "Stuff like this is just a taste of part of your training" was the announcer's response. The teachers came over congratulating the students in the test run while the battle partners vanished. "I think you're someone who is going to ace this, good luck" added Ronnie to anika. She blushed and went back to her seat hiding her face. After the opening ceremony ended the students were sent to the dorm rooms they'd be staying in.
To the shock of Anika and Aaron they were roomies. "Awesome, but these places are big enough to hold four students and their partners here" added Aaron. He showed how they'd access it and on the scanner the name of the student appeared in the left column while their partner's name appeared in the right column. "Why are there two line sets by one name?" Asked Anika noticing a second spot below the first partner name. "We can work with two partners" added Aaron. He went in and Anika joined him after doing her scan. "You seem the most knowledgeable to all this...." She said. "I'm a second year, that's why" added Aaron.
They got settled in before a third showed up. This one was an Asian girl in a ninja uniform like Aaron's except hers was black with jade trim. "Ilene, you're starting here too?" Asked Aaron. "What are.... You... Doing here" responded Ilene revealing her quiet voice. "Uh seems we're roommates" added Aaron. Anika was confused a bit. "You two know each other?" She asked. The duo explained that they train together.
Anika nodded. *" I think I'm gonna like it here "* she said to herself.
(A/N: Ok that's it. Next part is done. And this is a lot of altering from the initial rough drafts but every story always has that. And like I already said. For this particular fic the photos will be added last.
The reasons? I have certain apps I need on my phone to put it together but I don't have the space currently.
