To America

Chapter 2

I was in my cabin with Raven. I was fixing my dress and looking at Raven in the mirror. "So... Raven how do you feel about being stuck on a boat with Luna for  three months." I say with a smirk. She glares at me.

"You and miss sailor." Raven says with a smirk. "She was staring you down the whole time."

I blush. "She wishes I would like her. She isn't my type." I say in a mocking manner.

"And who is? Bellamy?" Raven asks jokingly.

"Never say that again or I will throw you off this boat."

"Maybe then that cute green eyed sailor will save me and make you jealous." She says laughing. We have never told my mom that I find girls more attractive as boys. It's not like I don't find boys attractive, I just also find girls attractive. It's the same thing with Raven. She doesn't know what it is called. We call it our little secret sin.

"Okay first off Lexa isn't all that cute, and I wouldn't be jealous." I say brushing my hair.

"Okay you are right she isn't cute. She is beautiful." Raven says sighing.

"When you are done day dreaming about some random sailor could you help me brush my hair?" I ask and she laughs walking over to me.

I walk into a dinning room on the ship for dinner with the captain. I sit next to Bellamy because that is the only chair left open. Raven sits next to me and Octavia is on the other side of Bellamy. My mother is sitting next to the Captain and Lincoln is also here.

"How do you fine people like your cabins?" Titus asks biting into his food.

"They are lovely." Octavia says smiling and Lincoln smiles at her.

"Indeed, Clarke thank you again for coming." Bellamy says smiling at me.

"I didn't come because of you Bellamy." Raven snorts. She took it wrong. I kick her under the table. My mother then kicks me under the table. "I- uh came for all of England... a new start."

Titus clears his throat to break the tension. He was about to open his mouth to speak but somebody walks in the door. It's Lexa and Luna. Raven and I both perk up.

"Sorry... erm... Captain uh-" Lexa starts to say but she gets choked up and looks at me. "Well don't you all look lovely." She says making eye contact with me.

"Speak your mind Lexa." Titus says with his control voice on.

She walks over and whispers something in his ear. "Oh... okay... I'll deal with that later... just... do what we usually do." He says quietly as we all eat.

Lexa nods at him then looks at Luna with a sad expression.

"But- I mean..." Lexa try's to say.

"Lexa do as I say." Titus looks sad too. She nods and The girls walk out. Titus whispers to Lincoln and he nods.

"It's been a pleasure." He says with a smile and a nod as he leaves the room.

"I'm am so sorry about that. Let's continue." He says clearing his throat.

It was after dinner and we all stand up to leave.

"Clarke would you mind joining me for a stroll?" Bellamy says with a smile. He puts his arm out for me to take.

"Um... I'm sorry Bellamy but I think I'm just going to go to bed... thank you for the offer." I say patting his arm and walking out. I can feel his disappointment, my mothers anger, Titus's confusion, Octavia's innocence, and Ravens smirk all behind me.
