M: *smiles*
Diane: Yan! *points at M* Yang ngiting yan! San lakad nyo?
M: Eto naman, masama bang ngumiti? Birthday ng asawa ko syempre masaya ko! *laughs*
Diane: *throws a wadded up napkin at M* Tigilan mo ko Maine! Parang di din namin gawain yan.
M: *laughs* Oo na! Dyan lang sa tabi tabi. *looks and winks at R*
R: *laughs* Kung saan abutin ng liwanag. *looks at M and wiggles his eyebrows*
Kristoffer: Ganyan ba talaga pag inlove? Nyeta! Makauwi na nga! Kadiri kayo! *throws a piece of veggie at R*
R: Hoy! *throws veggie back at K and laughs* Oo magsilayas na kayo at di kami maka alis! Uwiii!
Rodjun: *laughs and looks at D* Hon, ganyan din ba tayo? Kinikilabutan ako! *laughs*
Diane: Yes Honey, ganyan din tayo *laughs* Lika na uwi na tayo bigla akong nainggit sa kanila eh.
Richard watched as Maine says her goodbyes to his friends who eventually became her close friends as well.
R: Ready love?
M: Yup! Bags are already in the car.
R: Let's go! *holds out his hand to M*
M: *looks at her watch before taking both his hands, wrapping it around her waist and putting her own arms around R's neck* First and last greeting.. Happy Birthday my love. Many many more to come! I love you.. *kisses R*
R: Thank you sobra sobra Mahal.. this birthday will always be extra special because it is the first I celebrated as your husband, being married to the woman of my dreams is just pure bliss! I love you so much.. *kisses M back*
Tonight they are going on a road trip to Batangas. To a special place they frequent there. Not that far that they would be driving most of the night, but far enough for them to enjoy the quiet time of being just the two of them in the car.
M: Drive.
R: Does this mean I win?
M: Win what?
R: That you get to speak first as soon as we get inside the car.
M: Hmph.. eh di sige tatahimik nalang ako at tutulugan nalang kita.
R: Huy! *kisses M's cheeks* Biro lang Mahal..
M: *rolls her eyes, smiles then shakes her head* Pero love, kaya pa ba? Di ka ba pagod na? You had a full day. You want me to drive? Or let's just go back to the condo and move this trip some other time para magpahinga ka nalang.
R: No way! *leaving no other confirmation or retaliation for M's question* Ako pa ba love, umaabot nga tayo ng Bataan eh, Batangas lang kaya.
The silence lingered as they drove off down the road. Maine turned on the car radio's bluetooth and hooked her spotify on low volume. RJ tapped the steering wheel some as he kept his eyes on the little traffic around them. Maine leaned her head gently against the window, watching the lights roll by.
R: Love, ikaw yata tong pagod na eh. Okay ka na ba? Wala ng sore throat? Naubos mo na yung antibiotics mo kahapon. May ubo ka pa? Sipon? You want to go home instead?
