Maine had just arrived home from EB and is breastfeeding baby Aycee when RJ's messages came in. RJ didn't expect a reply since he thought that Maine is taking a nap with the kids which she usually does after EB when they don't have any prior commitments for the afternoon. Maine read the messages. She wiped tears from her eyes, and typed a reply, 'I would not change a thing because those memories are what made us who we are.'
RJ read the message from Maine and wiped a tear from his eye. He pressed 1 to speed dial his wife.
M: Hello, love.. *she smiled into her greeting* Miss me?
R: Hey beautiful.. More than you know. *he could hear the smile in her voice* Di na ko makahintay makausap ka mamaya so I had to call now.
M: Well I'm glad you called. I have missed the sound of your voice as well. Now all I need is your touch.
R: Soon, my love.. very soon.
M: I know *she sighed* I love you..
R: And I love you.. Boarding starts shortly. see you soon. *he disconnected the call when he heard the PA system call for their flight*
One last flight and he would be home; home with his family. Home with his children. Home with his wife, his soulmate.
As RJ was enroute to Manila, Maine was preparing to head to the airport to pick him up. She had originally planned to wait for RJ at home, but she just can't wait to see him. This would be a surprise.
Maine went into the SUV with Kuya Aga driving and headed to the airport. She pulled up a flight tracker app and saw that RJ's flight had just landed and was coming to the gate. Kuya Leysam or Mama Ten would send Aga a text when they are ready to be picked up. She told Aga not to say a word to his boss that she's there.
She can see a lot fans waiting for him too. She hopes he doesn't take too long. About twenty minutes after she had checked that the plane was at the gate, Aga got the call from Mama Ten. Aga pulled the SUV to the VIP lane, spotting RJ and Mama Ten standing near the curb. Aga pulled up next to them and got down to help with the luggages. RJ opened the front passenger door to sit infront when he saw his wife smiling at him and sitting at the back. His eyes quickly lit up brighter than the fireworks on New Year's Eve.
R: Aaaaahhh! *immediately opening the backseat door and climbing in* Mahal kooo! *hugging and kissing M tightly and repeatedly* Mahal kooo! I miss you, I miss you, I miss youuuu! *continues to shower M with kisses*
M: *laughs* Daddy! Kumalma ka nga! *continues to laugh, kissing and hugging R back*
Mama Ten: Ahem! Mamaya na siguro natin tuloy yan ano? Pinalilibutan na tayo ng fans sa labas. Malamang may naka-aninag na sa inyo.
R: Pake ko! Asawa ko to! *still hugging and kissing M*
M: Daddy.. *taps his arms* Lika na the kids are waiting.
R: More at home.. *he whispered*
Husband and wife were hugging each other all the way home. Several times, RJ pulled their joined hands to his lips and kissed the back of her hand, squeezing it lightly and kissing her cheeks repeatedly.
At home, Maine allowed the kids to stay up a bit later tonight so RJ can see them when he comes home. He hugged each one, kissing them all multiple times, cradling his princess Aycee in his arms and rocking her to sleep. He then pulled all of them in a family hug.
R: Okay, time for bed. Mommy and I will come ans help you get ready for bed in ten minutes.
RJ pulled Maine into the master bedroom. RJ's lugagges has already been brought up by Aga and the other maids earlier. He already got a raised eyebrow from his wife when she saw the amount of luggages that was brought in. He just kissed her and said will explain later.
R: *hugging M and fused his lips on hers as she wrapped her arms around him* Mahal ko.. I missed you so much.
M: And I have missed you so much too. Thank you for the notes. They kept me going day after day.
R: You taught me the value of letter writing, who else should I use it for except for you? *kissing M again*
M: *cups R's cheeks and kisses him back*
R: *holds her hands* Akala mo di ko napansin ito? *rubs her french tip manicured nails* Mukhang all prepped ka na ah *snickers* Let's get the kids to bed and then ikaw naman ang ilalagay ko sa bed *wiggling his eyebrows* We have twelve days to make up. *kissing M again*
M: I am so liking the sound of that.. *she purred into the kiss* And I just have the exact thing to wear! *grinning naughtily*
R: Wag na sayang lang tatanggalin ko din yan. But you my love, you'll get another sight of what you do to me, woman. Be careful what you wish for. *he whispered in her ear* Your wish is my command.
M: Oh I'll make sure you'll know of my wishes later.. *as she pressed herself to RJ and then took his hand in hers* Halika na let's say goodnight to the kids so we can get back here in our room. Can't wait!
R: Teka kiss muna isa pa!
