Caine felt so stupid. This entire day was her birthday and he didn't even noticed. Even when he was with her in bed this morning, he didn't notice. He bit his left thumbnail, trying to think of a present to give to Diana. He then stared at Diana's endless dark eyes. They were so beautiful, yet he saw so much hidden emotions. In her eyes, he spotted happiness, yet sadness. He spotted hope and loneliness, as well as hurt and pain, oh so much pain in this stunning woman who had once taken care of Caine. Yes, he knew what he was getting her. He picked her up and drove her to the beach.
