"Hey let's see if Diana wants to come, too,"Astrid told Sam as they walked towards Diana's room. Sam knew Diana probably wouldn't come after what happened this morning. Astrid knocked while Sam stood silently knowing that Diana wouldn't answer. Sam was surprised when Diana stood in the doorway dressed as if expecting them. "Hey you want to come to breakfast?" Astrid asked, hopeful. Sam wondered if Astrid felt guilty that Caine died instead of him, like if it were her fault that Caine was dead. "Sure sounds good,"Diana said while looking at Sam straight in the eye. Sam stared back, trying not to fall in to one of Diana's tricks. "Let's go to IHOP, I feel like eating pancakes this morning, " proposed Diana. "Let's go," cheered Astrid as they walked out of the house and into Sam's car.
