Prologue- IVY
I ran through the fog and snow. Away from the clutches of a monster. His thin eyes, his nose, his evil lips. I ran straight into the cursed woods, and jumped into a bush. I heard the steps made by the crackel of the snow.
"Ivy!"
I closed my eyes, shedding tears. I knew he couldn't find me, and that he wouldn't. But, if he would, he would've risked his life. He's going to die anyway, either the Lord killing him or me going down with him. I opened my eyes, seeing a shadow. It hovered above the bushes, but then disappeared. I closed my eyes again, and saw a snake slither across the snow. Right towards him. I tried to scream, but knew I couldn't. My dry lips cracked, and droplets of blood splattered on the snow. The snake stopped, sensing it. Then moved towards me. I knew I saved him, but what about me? What about me?
Ugh.
How did I wander into this situation? I don't know. All I remember was Snape's deep laughter before closing my eyes again, hoping to never wake up....
