Part 27: Chimmy

The next morning Yoongi woke up tucked securely in his bed with his favourite teddies placed next to his sleepy form.

He didn't remember when he'd gotten into bed but shrugged the thought off as he sleepily became entranced by the redy orange strings on a yellow puppy plushies hoodie.

The longer he spent playing with the strings the more time slipped by without him realising and he ended up fully slipping into little space instead of pulling himself away from it like he'd normally try to do.

When he realised how little it was he'd regressed, a soft "Uh-oh." Left his lips before his eyes trailed back to the teddy which suddenly made him gasp.

He looked around the room before leaning closer to the teddies black ears and whispered "You look like Chiminie." With a happy smile spreading across them before he remembered the day before and how Jimin brought him food and fed him and let him cuddle up to him after that.

His smile only grew as he hugged the teddy tighter, gasping yet again as he thought of the most generous way he could to thank Jimin - Which wasn't to make him breakfast like his first thought that he quickly dismissed - he was going to let the other boy have his favourite 'Chimmy' for the day which made him gasp louder when he realised how close it was to his name, being fully convinced for a moment it was a sign from the universe that he had to get up right in that moment and give Jimin the teddy.

Without even checking the time he got up, scooping the teddy into his arms, and waddled his way out of his room and to Jimin's.

He was hesitant for a moment until he looked down and met the puppy plushies eyes again, filling him with determination and courage to knock.

He knocked twice and waited for a moment before he knocked on the door again, hearing a tired "Come in..." come from the other side of the door.

With a bright smile Yoongi opened the door wide and waddled his way inside and over in the general direction of Jimin's bed in the pitch black room and held out the teddy proudly in front of him before announcing "Yooni had to give Chiminie Chimmy asap because Chiminie helped Yooni yest-o-day and Chimmy reminds Yooni of Chiminie."

Both of them simultaneously couldn't help but to think that's a lot of chims.

Jimin could hear the smile on Yoongi's voice and quickly picked up on the fact the other was little so he didn't complain that he was woken, not that he would if Yoongi was big either, instead opting to grab a remote from next to his bed and turn the lights on with it.

He only turned them on a low setting but it was enough for his tired eyes to focus on the teddy and the beautiful smile plastered across his face and his appearance.

Yoongi's pyjama shirt was slightly falling off of his shoulder and he had bed head but in the over sized pyjamas looked like the epitome of all things pure and cuddly, and the small teddy on his hands made him smile softly (although it reminded him more of his father than himself) thinking the sentiment and eagerness was endearing.

He also watched as a blush spread across Yoongi's cheeks at the realisation Jimin wasn't wearing a shirt, his chiseled features on display from his waist to his face, and Yoongi quickly became flustered and shy.

Jimin chuckled before patting his bed next to him and pulling the covers back, revealing pants which Yoongi was very clearly thankful for because he didn't know how red he'd be if he saw Jimin's muscly thighs as well, giving Yoongi the opportunity to climb in with him and he did.

Jimin took a moment to glance at the clock to see it was only six am so he took the teddy with a soft "Thank you." Before asking "How long have you been awake?"

Yoongi shrugged in response and looked down playing with the edge of his pyjamas shirt as the red on his face became a deeper shade of red from the way he spoke.

Jimin couldn't help but smile goofily at the others shy antics, throwing the blanket over Yoongi's small form as he proposed "Why don't we go back to sleep for a bit then since it's still really earlier. We don't want a sad little Yooni later do we?"

Yoongi shook his head quickly and Jimin couldn't help but lean in and peck the top of his head as he turned the lights down saying "Then let's go back to sleep for now and we can play later when we wake up."

Yoongi nodded and turned his back to Jimin so he could roll up into a little ball before slowly closing the gap between them, moving towards Jimin's warmth, before Jimin closed the gap fully rolling on his side and cuddling into Yoongi's back.

Not to long after that in the silence of the room and the tranquility in the comforting warmth the pair both fell asleep cuddled up close and happily with each other.
