The lonely mutation of Baxter Stockman

Donnie pour some liquid into some beaker.

I went to check on him and brought some hot chocolate for Donnie and April. "Almost got it. Almost got it"Donnie whisper as I place the cup next to him. "Are we done yet, Donnie? We've been up for, like, a million hours"April said and yawn.

"Oh, no, no no worries, April. This time, it's gonna work"Donnie said I look at him. I sigh then turn around. Forget about it Alison. Focus on something else. I close the door then slide down. "Alison?"Leo said as he walk toward me. "Hey Leo"I said.

"Are you okay?"he said as he held my right hand. "I am fine Leo. Just tried"I said and he touch my cheek. "May I ask you a question?"he said and I nod. "Do you want to..I don't know...go out with me sometime?"he said. "What? You want to go out with me?"I said and he nod. 

"If that is alright with you"he said and I smile. "Sure. I guess it will be fun"I said and he smile at me. "Great! Can we hang out tomorrow?"He said and I nod. We heard Donnie cheering and we decide to check it out. 

"Did what?"Leo said as we enter. "Invent pizza that doesn't get soggy in milk?"Mikey said then we enter. "I finally made it. Retromutagen, you guys! The key to turning Mr.O'Neil human again"Donnie said then Master Splinter came.

"And you too, Sensei"he said as he hand the beaker to him. I smile at him. "Human once more? Save April's father first then Alison, and then I will consider it"he said then he walk away. "Did he said my name?"I said, confused. 

"Ooh, what if I turned myself human again? I wonder what I'd look like"Mikey said as he took it. "We were never human to begin with, genius. We'd just turn back into turtles"Raph said. "Give me that. I've only got enough for three doses, one for April's dad, one for Alison and one for Master Splinter"He said, putting it back.

"Can you make more of the stuff?"Leo said. "Yeah, but it takes ten canisters of mutagen to refine just one tiny dose of Retromutagen, and I don't have any left. But at least we can find your dad and change him back"Donnie said as he smile at April.

"Oh, I'm just speechless. Thank you. Thank you so much, Donnie. You're the best"April said and hug him. She kiss him on the cheek. He stutter then I look away. Leo saw me and pull me away. "Are you okay?"he said. "Yeah I am fine"I said and walk away.

We look out for April's dad.

"Dad"she said as we found him. "All right, April. Hang back. We don't want to rile up your dad like last time"Leo said. "But I can help. I can calm him down"April said. "Last time you tried that, he took you to his nest and tried to feed you dead rats"Raph said.

"Good point"April said. "Alison stay here too. Protect April"Leo said and I nod. They left as I push my hair back. "Is he the boy you like?"April said. "Huh, what?"I said. "You like Leo, don't you?"she said and I giggle. "Nah. No way. Actually no"I said.

"Really? I mean he has eyes on someone else, just like you say"She said and I bit my lips. I was talking about Donnie not him. But remember, he want to hang out with you alone tomorrow. "Really? Then if it was him then you think he might like me?"I said and she smile. 

"Alison, you are one cool girl. I think he will"she said. "Yeah, I am"I said as I smile at her. We heard some noise then her dad flew toward us. "Watch out!"I yelled as I push her away. He flew up as she stare at him. "Dad, no!"she said as he screech in the air.

"S-s-sentimental humansss. Give me the Retromutagen. Now!"It said and they all gasp. "Another mutant?"Leo said. "Retromutagen. Mine!"It said as it flew toward it. Donnie yelp and reach toward it. "No! Get your claws off that vial"Donnie said as they pull him down.
