Scene starts out in the school corridors, Adele walks up to Ethan and Joe. Demi not with them.
Ethan: Hey babe.
Adele: Hey.
They kiss
Joe: Where's Demi? Wasn't she getting a lift with you this morning?
Adele: I dunno, she must've found another ride or something. I haven't seen her in 2 weeks anyways, she said she was busy so didn't really question it.
Ethan: Speaking of, she's there.
Adele walks up to her
Adele: Hey Dem, you ok?
Demi: Yeah I'm good. Sorry about this morning, I left earlier so I got here on time.
Adele: Oh, yeah, no don't worry about it. Anyways, who's this?
Adele gestures to the guy Demi is with
Demi: Oh yeah, this is Beau.
Adele: Nice to meet you. Just out of curiosity, when did you and Demi become friends? I haven't seen you around much.
Beau: Oh, no I'm actually her...
Demi cuts in
Demi: ...Best friend from primary school.
Adele: Ah, so that's why I don't recognise you.
Beau: Yeah, must be.
Demi: Right, I need to go so I'll see you later.
Adele: Ok, see you in lesson later on.
Demi and Beau walk off, Adele goes back to stand with Joe and Ethan
Joe: So? Who was he?
Adele: Apparently her best friend from primary school but I don't think he's just that.
Ethan: Come to think of it, I have seen them two together a lot lately, like in the café and that.
Joe: (Sarcastically) Great.
LUNCHTIME
Adele, Ethan and Joe sitting at a table, eating. Adele brought her lunch, same for Ethan - both eating. Joe isn't eating anything, just chewing gum. Demi is seated at a different table, almost at the other end of the hall. Beau is sitting next to her, along with two other people sitting across from them.
Joe sees Demi
Joe: Seriously? They're sitting together now, ugh.
Ethan: Yeah, it looks like they're together.
Adele: Joe you okay?
Joe: Yeah yeah fine.
Ethan stands up, and goes to walk up to Demi and Beau
Adele: Ethan, don't you'll make it worse!
Ethan had already started walking over there
Ethan was over at Demi's table
Ethan: Are you avoiding us?
Demi: No? It's just nice to spend time with other people sometimes.
Ethan: Well, it looks like you're ignoring us.
Demi: I'm not, I just don't want to hang out with one of you, seeing as he doesn't care, what's the point.
