Starts out in the school hallway, everywhere is busy as class had just finished. See Demi and Adele walking out of the classroom talking.
Demi: How weird was that!
Adele: I know right. I did not think my day was gonna start out like that.
Demi: I couldn't focus whatsoever cause Mr Smith was so energetic.
Adele: I know! It must have been all that coffee on his desk!
Demi and Adele laugh and start to walk down the hallway, until they see Jesse and Lacey walking up to them. Jesse holding Lacey's hand.
Jesse: (Intimidatingly) What are you two laughing at?
Demi: (Muttering under her breath) Not again.
Jesse: What did you say about them Lace? They're such rats!?
Lacey: Yup. Just look at them. Ugh.
Demi: Says you!
Jesse and Lacey start laughing
Adele: Come on Dem, let's go before you start a fight.
Demi: Fine.
Adele grabs Demi's arm and pulls her away from the couple
Lacey: (Shouts as they walk away) Pussies!
Demi turns around and sticks her middle finger up at the pair of them
Jesse and Lacey act offended but continue to laugh at them as they walk off
Demi and Adele walk off stage, Joe and Ethan walk on
Joe: Have you seen the girls this morning?
Ethan: Nope. Adele got the bus this morning so I didn't see her, and I dunno about Demi.
Joe: Oh wait, they're coming now.
Demi and Adele back on stage, walk towards Ethan and Joe - Demi and Adele looking annoyed
Adele runs up to Ethan and gives him a hug, Demi does the same with Joe
Joe: Hey, what's wrong?
Demi: It's just that stupid couple Jesse and Lacey!
Joe: Why? What've they done now?
Adele: Just being annoying and bitchy as always. That and they won't leave us alone.
Ethan: It's probably cause neither of you are afraid of them.
Adele: Well one of us certainly isn't. I also just had to pull that someone away before they started a fight.
All turn to look at Demi
Demi: What? I dunno why you doubt me, I could've won that easily.
Joe: Yeah, but you could've also gotten in trouble? Or hurt!? Did you think of that one?
Demi: ...no? Ok, fine, fine, you make a good point...Thanks Adele, I owe you one.
Adele: Yeah you do.
Adele and Demi both laugh
Joe: Anyways, moving on from that... What're you guys doing this weekend? Thought we could do something?
Ethan: Nothing much.
Adele: Ethan!
Ethan: What?
Adele: This weekend's our anniversary!
Ethan: Oh shit yeah. Then yeah I'm busy.
Demi: I'm getting my hair cut so I'm busy Saturday as well. Sorry babe.
Joe: Eh, it's fine, I'll find something to do.
Bell rings signalling the end of break time - hallway starts to get crowded, ETHAN and JOE walk off first (to stage left), DEMI and ADELE walk off after (to stage right)
MONDAY
Lunchtime - lunch hall is busy and loud. Joe standing at entrance trying to see where the friends are seated. He sees them, comes running up to Adele and Ethan who are seated at the end of the hall by the doors leading outside.
Joe slumps down on the seat - out of breath
Joe: Hey, either of you seen Demi? I haven't seen her since Friday, and she's not answering the phone.
Ethan: Na sorry mate.
Adele: I was round hers Friday but haven't spoken or seen her since.
Demi rushes down the hallway into the canteen where the friends were seated
Demi: (out of breath) Hi guys.
Adele: Oh my god your hair! It looks incredible Dem!
Demi had gotten the side of her hair shaved and also had re-dyed her hair a dark red/brown colour.
Demi: Thanks, it's a bit different to what I'd usually do but yeah. Wasn't too expensive either.
Ethan: It looks really good Dem.
Demi: Thank you, thank you. What'd you think Joe? You like it?
Joe: It's certainly different that's for sure.
Demi: (Laughs awkwardly) Well yeah, that was the point.
Adele: Come on Joe, admit she looks good.
Joe: I'm not saying she doesn't look good, it's just not what I thought you'd do ya know. I just don't think it's you.
Demi: Fair enough. Everyone's entitled to their own opinion I guess.
Awkward silence for a minute...
Ethan: So...do you guys wanna go to the café after 6th period?
Adele: Oh yeah, I need my coffee.
Demi: Sounds good.
Joe: Yeah, but I can't stay for ages.
Demi: How come?
Joe: Don't worry about it.
Demi: Ok then...
Joe: (sighs) I didn't mean to snap at you babe, it's just private.
Demi: Ok. Whatever you say.
Ethan: Ok guys we're gonna go. Lesson starts in like five minutes so need to get ahead of the crowds.
Adele: Remember to meet at the café at 4.
Demi: Yeah ok.
Joe: Gives me time to hang out before I have to be somewhere as well.
Adele: Yeah, works for everyone.
Ethan: We'll see you then then. Bye guys.
Adele: Bye.
Demi: Bye.
Ethan and Adele exit stage left

Joe: Hey Dem, can we talk real quick?
Demi: I really can't Joe, I have to get to class. Can we talk later?
Joe: Yeah, yeah, it can wait.
Demi: Ok. I'll see you after school then.
Joe: Yeah sure.
