A tear slide down his cheek as I wiped it away pulling him into a hug.

Angelica and her husband John came out of Alexander's hospital room.

"Alexander asked to speak with you Y/N." John said as he hugged his wife.

Angelica face was socked with tears as she clung to John.

With my cousin-in-law Philip. (Don't be confused, Angelica's kid. I would say more but Google said she had eight kids or had just one kid...)

"But." I said looking at Tommy.

"I go him." Philip (church) said raising his hand.

I nodded as I rushed to Alexander's bedside.

"What are the doctors saying?" I asked.

"H-h-h-He, H-he." Eliza sniffled into her handkerchief clutching Alexander's hand.

"He," Philip (your Philip) started trying to stay strong, but he bust into tears. "He won't make it." Philip's said clinging to my waist, but quickly let go.

"Sorry love, that can't be good for the baby." Philip said leaving his hand on my stomach. He kissed my stomach as I sat a hand on his head. I whipped away his tears as my lip quivered allowing a tear to seek travel down my face.

"Baby?" A horse voice cracked.

"Yes Pops, Y/N is pregnant." Philip said hold his fathers and held my hand.

"That's my boy!" He smiled as a cough left his cracked lips.

"Take care of my grandchildren, son." Alexander said.

"But, What if?" Philip paused, looking at me before proceeding to say, "What if I drop the baby, or I am a terrible father Pops, I need you there."

"Son, when you were born, I held you like the crown jewel of France. Darn fleabags they are." Alexander said, "But nothing is as bad as Jefferson. Oh lord, don't get me started on Jefferson." Phillip chuckled at his fathers words.

( you can believe me or not but Alexander was a Federalist meaning they liked the British. The democratic-republicans liked France...)

"Oh Pops." Philip chuckled.

"Ah, Alexander ah, if I may." I said.

"Alexander, I want you to talk to Tommy. He thinks you are dying because of him. Because my brother, sister, and parents are dead, and now your dying. He wouldn't let me touch him because he thought the baby and I would die." I said.

"Please, it pains me to know he feels such pain. No 8 year old should feel such a way." I told Alexander.

"Philip, send Tommy in." Alexander said to Philip.

Philip left the room to fetch Tommy.

(Let me get something straight, Philip Jr. was born June 1 or 2 1802 a year after Philip died. But Philip didn't die. Alexander died July 12 1804.)

"How far along are you?" Alexander asked.

"Barely even a month, I just found out today." I said.

"Oh, Eliza when is our baby being born?" He asked he wife.

"One more month love." Eliza said.

"I'm afraid I won't be there." Alexander said.

"No, no!" Eliza cried, "I won't hear such talk!"
