Alec looks up over the canvas that he is painting on and locks eyes with his naked boyfriend who is laying on the bed. He smiles to himself and drops the brush in the container of cleaner.
He walks over to the bed and as he leans down and just as their lips almost meet, there is a loud crash and a scream from the kitchen.
Magnus grabs his robe and they both rush out into the living room as jace runs out of the kitchen.
"Jace, what is wrong?"
"I can't believe you did this."
Alec looks at jace with a raised eyebrow, making jace inhale deeply and thrust a bottle into alecs chest.
Alec takes the bottle and still looks at jace not knowing what is going on.
"How could you buy this with it having those beasts on the bottle?"
Alec looks at the bottle and with a short he says, "jace, it's dishwashing liquid."
"I can't believe they have that where children can see it."
Alec shows the bottle to Magnus and he snorts when he sees the baby ducks on the label and says, "you herondales and your ducks."
