First meeting
"What time is Izzy going to be here?" Jace asks alec while they are watching TV at the fire station where they other work.
"She said they would be here around noon tomorrow."
"They?"
"Yeah she said she's bringing a friend home with her."
"A boyfriend?"
"No. She said he's just a friend."
"Ok." Jace says as the alarm goes off and they both run out.

"It's been too long since we seen you." Alec says, hugging izzy.
"I know, big brother, I know."
"Who's this?" Jace asks.
"This is magnus, my mentor at school. Magnus this is my brothers, alec and jace."
"The firmen, right?" Magnus asks.
"Yeah." Izzy says as her and magnus walk upstairs.
"He seems nice." Jace says, plopping on the couch.
"Yeah, he does." Alec says still looking at the stairs.
"Alec, you're drooling."
"I am not." Alec says, glaring at jace and walking into the kitchen.

"So." Magnus says while he is unpacking. "What's up with your brother?"
"Which one?" Izzy asks from the bed.
"The one who kept staring."
"Alec."
"Yeah."
"He is shy."
"With his body? I don't see why."
"Are you interested?"
"I just met him."
"Since when has that mattered?" Izzy laughs.

"Are you sure you have to leave tomorrow?" Alec asks while him and magnus are cuddling on the couch after everyone has went to bed.
"Yeah, our classes start in three days."
"Ok."
"Hey." Magnus says, lifting his chin.
Alec leans up, kisses magnus deeply, running his hands through his hair.
Magnus stands up, pulling Alec with him, he pulls him close, kissing him again, pushing him toward the stairs.

"So." Izzy says, while they are driving. "What's going on between you and alec?"
"Well, we decided to try a long distance relationship."
"That can be hard."
"We know. We talked about it last night."
"You mean after you guys had sex."
"We prefer made love but yeah."
"And?"
"We decided that if anyone can make it work, we can." Magnus says, looking out the window, smiling.
