Was Robert curious to what Kimberly was getting up to that evening? Yes. But did he intend on finding out? No. Well, not until Kim's iPad began going crazy in the corner of the living room with Instagram notifications. He tried to leave it. He really did. But his brother was a bad influence. "Will you turn that off for God sake? Why is it going off so much?" Caiden groaned.

Without saying a word Robert stood from his seat and picked up the iPad in a pink case that sat at the other side of the coffee table. He flipped open the cover to see the screen filled with notifications. "Her friends have been tagging her in photos."

"I wanna see." Caiden leant over and snatched the device from his brother's hands. He scrolled through a few photos and videos, Robert still being able to catch sight of a few. Caiden stopped over one and turned it to Robert so he could see it in full-view. "She's pissed." The photo was with a guy named Milo. She had her tongue on his cheek, a large grin spread across her face.

He better be gay.

"You look really good!" A green haired girl shouted over the music. Savannah. Savannah was a girl Kimberly shared many classes with and although the two didn't speak every day, Kim would class them as friends.

"Thanks! So do you!" Kim replied with a smile. Savannah was dressed as Beetlejuice. Was her hair a wig for the costume you ask? No. Savannah enjoyed dying her hair so much you'd be surprised she wasn't bald yet.

"Elijah keeps staring at you. Are you two a thing?" She asked in all seriousness. The girl was clearly intoxicated, but that was no surprise since she had played at least four rounds of beer pong and lost all four rounds.

"He's not staring at me. He's probably watching to make sure no one breaks any of his parent's things." Kimberly was quick to shut down Savannah's words.

"Hey, Kim! Can I get some help please?!" Elijah shouted. He wasn't far away at all, but the music was just too loud. Kimberly nodded her head, told her friend she'd be back and made her way over to the boy. "There's bottles everywhere and I don't want them smashing, can you help me?"

"Course." She smiled and took a few in her hand.

"There's a plastic box in the front garden where we keep glass." He instructed and took many bottles in his large hands.

Kim followed, only managing to pick up four, preferring not to grab too many and have them fall all over the floor and make a fool out of herself. The two dropped the bottles in the plastic bin without them smashing and went back inside to repeat the action again with a few more bottles.

"So... we're matching, huh?" Elijah smirked.

Kim looked down at her outfit then back up at Elijah's. "Hugh Hefner, huh?" She giggled.

"And you're my little bunny." He winked and headed back inside for a few more bottles.

She blushed, sucking on the inside of her cheek.

"Thanks for helping." Elijah yawned. It was a small party, nothing too big, he didn't want it to be some extravagant thing. By now the majority of people had gone home except from Milo and Kim. Milo was staying the night at Elijah's as he had been locked out of his own home. His house wasn't far from Kim and Elijah's street so when he tried to get in his house and the door was locked he decided to come back and Elijah offered him to stay.

You may be wondering where Elijah's parents were, well his parents worked away a lot so Elijah's house was the house high school parties were held. Cliché? Me? Never.

"I'm exhausted, let's get this cleaned up." Elijah sighed, picking up a few plastic cups. "Milo- has he seriously fallen asleep?" Elijah rolled his eyes.

"Apparently. You carry on cleaning, I'll get him a blanket and a pillow." She whispered. Elijah pointed at a door under the stairs. She opened up the cupboard and looked for a blanket and pillow — which luckily she found.

She walked back into the living room and crouched down besides Milo. She lifted his head so she could place a pillow underneath and lifted his legs onto the couch, untying his shoelaces, popping off his trainers and placing them besides the couch before placing a blanket over him.

Elijah watched with a small smile as he absentmindedly picked up plastic cups. She's so caring. He thought to himself.

She hopped back up to her feet, skirt flying up from the suddenly movement, flashing Elijah making his eyes grow wide. "Okay, let's take these outside so I can finally go home and fall asleep." Kimberly yawned and motioned her head to the pile of bottles on the floor.

Elijah and Kimberly grabbed the remaining bottles and took them out to the front garden where the rest sat.

A bottle smashing caused Kim to squeal and jump back. Elijah threw a bottle in the box causing it to shatter. "They need to fit in that box. Give it a go." He smile and handed a bottle to Kim.

She took it with a smile and aimed for the box, it landing in it and smashing. "It is pretty fun."

The two then spent the most part of an hour throwing glass bottles in a plastic bin for them to break into smaller pieces, hoping they would all fit. They sat on the floor besides each other, taking it in turns like a competition. Once they had finished Kim stood to her feet, getting ready to leave, but before she could Elijah pulled her towards him. "Has anyone ever told you that you look like a bunny?"

"I can't tell if that's an insult or a compliment." Kim looked him at him with a smirk.

"Of course it's a compliment. Small, big eyes, a little nose and two front teeth that ever so slightly show." He smiled, moving a hair out of her face.

"Don't mention my teeth." She brought a hand up to cover her mouth.

Elijah laughed and took her hand in his. "It's cute, but I think there's something missing from your look." He took a moment to look around, then he jogged on over to the house across the street. Kim watched in confusion. He picked a small, yellow flower.

Elijah stepped closer to her, his smile never once leaving his face. "What are you doing?" She whispered, feeling unable to breath from the very little space he had left between the two.

He placed the flower behind her ear. "It looks gorgeous. Makes your eyes look even prettier." He matched her tone of whisper and took a step back.

Kimberly blushed, who wouldn't? She looked down at her feet, not knowing exactly what to say. The boy placed his forefinger underneath her chin and lifted her head back up. "Watch, it may fall." He smiled. "Now, I think I should walk you home."

"I live next door." Kim shook her head and laughed a little. "Thank you though."

"You can thank me when we get to your door. I'll still walk you." He smiled and began slowly walking, knowing she would follow.

Kim checked the door, it was unlocked. She slowly opened the door as Elijah watched her every move in wonder. How can someone look so perfect? "Goodnight, Elijah."

"Goodnight pretty girl."
