As she traced the lines down the face of the wolf Maeve smiled. It was a small smile but a smile nonetheless. She just really liked designing things like this. She wouldn't talk to her friends about it but she was a very creative person, and in her spare time would love to draw. Wouldn't it be amazing if she could do that for her actual career?

Yeah, that would be amazing, but would never happen. That was the hardest thing Maeve felt about having to join the dark lord, she wouldn't be able to pursue her true ambitions in the wizarding world.

The time rushed by like a cool breeze, and before she knew it the detention was halfway through being done.

She had designed three more tattoos after the wolf, and was really proud with all of them. She waited until the ink was dry and then put all the used and unused parchment and equipment back into her bag. She lay her head on her arms resting on the desk and shut her eyes, thinking of taking a nice long nap. She was slipping and slipping further and further into sleep-

And then she felt something hit her on the head.

What the fuck?

She lifted her head to see the four loud gryffindors that particularly irritated her to be looking straight in her direction.

"Iverson," Black whispered loudly, "Do you know what the time is? I don't have a watch."

Maeve scowled at him and quickly got her wand out. She charmed the watch sitting on the wrist of a ravenclaw who was reading at the front, and caused the heavy accessory to fly across the room and smack Sirius Black in the face.

"Fuck," He groaned clutching his nose.

"You wanted the time," Maeve shrugged, "now don't disrupt me again."

She leaned down and rested her head on her arms again, trying to fall asleep again.

"Pst, Iverson," she heard a voice hiss from behind her.

She turned round and saw Severus Snape boredly staring at her. He sat in the desk directly behind her so they could basically whisper.

"What?" She asked.

"Why are you here? What did you do this time? Come on we have a while, I want a story," Snape smirked slightly.

"Alright Snape," She turned round completely to comfortably face him, "so it all started when I wore red lipstick to Mcgonagall's class. This bitch had the nerve to say to me - hey!"

She was interrupted by something hard and metal being thrown into the back of her head. It was painful as hell. She turned round and looked at her desk and saw the watch she had just enchanted to fling itself into Sirius Black's face.

Stupid fucking Gryffindors.

Maeve looked up to see Black and Potter laughing.

"What the fuck Black, that really hurt," Maeve scowled.

"Now you know how it feels," Sirius dramatically tossed a black lock of hair over his shoulder, "and by the way, please keep the noise down, it's very disruptive."

"I swear to Merlin, I'm gonna-"

"What are you gonna do?" Potter mocked, "it's four against one."

"Three, don't involve me in this," Lupin put his hands up in surrender to his friend.

"Whatever, you'd be dead if you tried anything Iverson," Black smirked.

"Listen up, I have heels bigger than all your dicks and I could easily end your potential chances of fatherhood with one swift kick SO I would advise you shut your mouths and stop throwing shit at me. Got it?" Maeve said, a scarily calm look on her face.

"Wait, am I included in this?" Lupin asked.

Maeve looked at him for a second, giving him a quick glance up and down. Her mood quickly shifted.

"No...I think it would probably be incorrect if I included you," She said with an amused smirk.

"In what way?" He asked.

"You're a lot taller than your wanker friends, for you I can't imagine my heels would be bigger," She shrugged.

He sat back in his chair with a satisfied grin, "how would you know?"

"Well you're right, I guess I don't know, but that doesn't mean I can't find out-"

"Fucking hell, can you two please stop flirting and talking about Remus' dick before I throw up," Black put out his hand in a stop signal, his face scrunched up in disgust.

"Sorry," Lupin laughed, his cheeks slightly pink from the previous exchange.

Maeve laughed slightly under her breath as she turned back to Snape.

"I'll tell you the rest of the story in the common room, I might actually try to sleep now," She told him.

"Sure, and don't worry, I'll fend off any more watches that might come flying your way," He told her solemnly, but had an amused glint in his eye.

"Thanks," She laughed, "you're alright Snape, you know that?"

"Thank you," He pursed his lips in an awkward smile.

And with that, she turned round to properly sleep this time.
