The beast, a mystic dragon help make it, and sealed his soul into it, the ten on the cover is it eye, looking for someone worthy to use its power
The book was sealed in a ancient temple, but when night raid goes to it, it calls out to tatsumi, and chooses him to use it

time he can use the idea of arc of time magic from fairy tail anime
Space he creates portals

Top left is arrows, summon arrows that do different things
Top right is flight, he creates Angel wings to fly
Middle left is traps, he can use this one to pay different traps, and by adding a element in the middle he can u use the element in a trap
Middle right is transformation, he can shape shift
Bottom left is weapon creation
Bottom right is aim, by using this one he can cast spells at a farther distance, or can help other aim weapons, and can make the shot always hit target
