Oh my god.
Today's the day.

I went in for a shower to collect myself and went downstairs to eat breakfast.
We'll be leaving soon.

"Morning, Amie!", my mom said as she took a sip of her coffee.
"Morning, mom."
"Today's the day!", she exclaimed.
"I know! I'm kind of excited?"
"Kind of? Amie, darling. You should be! You're meeting your friends again, aren't you? I want to see my daughter smiling today.", she softly said while cupping my face.

"Okay, I'll be happy today I promise."

"Knock knock!! Amie?"
"Yeah, mom I'm coming!", I exclaimed as I got my bags and jacket and took one final look at my room before I open the door.

"Ready to go?"
"I'm ready!", I said with a huge grin on my face.

We got in the car and just like that;
We were off to see them.

"It's gonna be quite a long trip, Amie. Why don't you rest first? You'll be spending lots of your energy when we get to Seoul!", Mom insisted.

"I'm good, thanks.", I said as I put on my earphones and listened to music while looking at the sights out the window.

I'll meet you in Seoul.

I decided to play some of my favorite NCT songs on the way; their music makes me happy after all.

"Amie? Dear, wake up! We're here!", I could hear the sound of my mom's voice so faintly.
It took me a few seconds to process what I just heard-
WE'RE HERE?!

"WH-WHAT?!", I screamed as I shot up the seat and removed my earphones.
"H-here already?!!"
"Yeah. We made it to Seoul!!! Does anything seem familiar?"

Everything seems familiar.
This street. Ten and I always used to walk down this street at night!
The old benches! They're here too! I remember these fields where we used to run in them and just act like dorks.

"Yeah, mom! This is the street we always used to hang out in.. God, it's been so long."

"Hey, mom? Can you just drop me off here? I kinda want to walk the rest of my way to the building. If that's alright with you?", I asked.

"Well, okay sweetheart.", she agreed while pulling over to the side.
"This is it, mom."
"Enjoy yourself, my Amie. Go on. I'll see you soon. It was always hard to let go of you, though. No matter how many times... No matter how old you are.."
"I love you so much!", I exclaimed while I held her tightly.
"I love you too. Now go."
"I'll see you soon."

I held my breath and I walked out of the car. I waved goodbye to mom as she drove away. I stood there until I couldn't see the vehicle any longer.

I looked at my surroundings and all the memories from trainee days flash back to me.

---- Amie's Flashback from seven years ago -

"Guys, wait for me!!!", I cried as I ran towards my older brothers.
"You're so slow, Eun Jeung-sshi!!", Kun shouted out.
"Come oonnn, Ames.", Ten whined as he held one arm out and waited for me.
"Alright, alright!!"

"Aww look at those little legs!!", Xuxi teased.
"Ahhh, stop teasing me!!"
"Come on, let's go get some ice cream.", Kun said.

"Raahh!! Let's go!!", Sicheng boomed as he carried me unto his back.
"Woohoo!! I feel so tall now, Sicheng-ah!! I'm the king of the world!!!"

"Woooo let's go!!"

As I continuously walked, I saw the building. SM Entertainment.
