Cheryl was all ready for a night out in Vegas. She left Toni to take a shower and get ready back at their hotel while she went out by herself to get some things and use the ATM machine. Toni would always take a long time to leave for parties so Cheryl would usually run some errands during that period of time.
"Cheryl?"-a voice of a girl said.
Cheryl turned to see who was calling her. She was in shock for a second.
"Heather?"-Cheryl said.
It was her ex-girlfriend.

"What are you doing here?"-Heather said, pulling her in for a hug.
"Partying. What else do people come for in Vegas!?"-Cheryl said.
"You look so different but at the same time, the same."-Heather said, looking at every part of Cheryl's body and face. "How long has it been?"
"You tell me."-Cheryl said, smiling awkwardly "How have you been?"
"I've been good. I'm majoring in arts and music."-Heather said.
"So, you got your way with your parents it seems. You convinced them."-Cheryl said.
"I'm good with that."-Heather said.
"Yet, you couldn't convince them to stay in town back then."-Cheryl said.
The girls both stopped to look at each-other for a moment. Thinking of the time they got ripped apart from each-other.
"That's the only time I failed in doing so. I wish I hadn't left."-Heather said.
Cheryl didn't say anything.
"Who are you here with?"-Heather asked.
"My girlfriend. She's back at the hotel."-Cheryl said.
Toni had been waiting for her for a while before texting her.
