Maya's POV

"Remember I like blue colors," I said writing.

"Okay," Lucas said working on his.

"And I'm 5'2."

"Got it."

"And I like when it rains."

"Check."

"How much more do you have to write?" I asked.

"Almost done," Lucas said, "Okay done."

"Can I see it?" I asked.

"Nope," Lucas said standing up.

I stood up, "Give me it."

Lucas put the paper up over his head, "Got to reach for it."

"Yeah right your like 6'2 how am I supposed to get that," I said.

"Figure it out," Lucas said sticking his tongue out.

"Your so childish," I said.

"Yes I am," Lucas said still holding it over his head.

"Come on give me it," I said jumping up.

"Not until you say please."

"Fine please."

"Please what?"

"Please can I have my paper."

"It didn't sound like you meant it," Lucas smiled.

"Fine you win," I said getting up on the couch.

"Thank you," Lucas said still standing up.

Lucas turned around to sit down and I got on his back.

"Who's the childish one now?" Lucas said.

"Give me my paper," I said.

"Nope," he said grabbing my legs as I wrapped my arms around his neck so I wouldn't fall.

"Yes," I said.

"No."

"Yes."

"No."

"Yes."

"Give me a good reason."

"If you don't give it to me I'll mess up your hair," I said running my hand threw his hair.

"Hey quit it," Lucas laughed.

"Once I get my paper," I said.

"Okay you asked for this," Lucas said.

Lucas ran around the living room holding into me. He would pretend to drop me every couple of seconds but I knew he was strong enough to hold me. I was laughing so hard he was able to throw me into the couch.

"Okay fine you win," I said sitting up.

"Good," Lucas said sitting back down with me.

"Your not like most guys I've meet," I said.

Lucas was different he seemed to be all jerky but inside he cared about things. He showed his soft side and he showed his carefree side. He wasn't afraid to be real in front of people.

"What do you mean?" Lucas said leaning back.

"Your different," I said looking down.

"Is different bad?" Lucas said.

"Different good," I smiled.

"Good," Lucas smiled.

I leaned back on the couch, "Alright let's get back to work."

"Some of us finished," Lucas said grabbing a pencil.

"Some of us would have finished early but they decided to be difficult," I said taking his pencil.

"Give me that," Lucas said reaching for it.

I dropped the pencil on the ground, "Ops."

Lucas smirked, "Fine two can play this game."

Lucas leaned down and looked his pencil under the couch. It didn't help Auggie threw random stuff under there from time to time.

"What's this?" Lucas said standing up.

"What's what?" I said looking up.

Lucas was holding a spell book.
