ART ABOVE is Kei Tian Xi - Shadow guard KT Xi -Empress Yin Xi, 😂whatever he's called.

KT Xi's sharp eyes scan every direction as he felt another presence hiding within the chaos of the storm. The shadow guard draw his sword to his side as his eyes narrows to concentration.

He glance to his left and swiftly swing his sword vertically, a ping was heard as the dagger collided with his sword then flew to his back and thrust into the tree's trunk halfway through its hilt.

"Pick it" A female voice coldly said. The Imperial Noble Consort, Wang Rui Wei slowly emerges behind the trees, her eyes are cold, whole body is stiff, her clothes is convenient for a fight. Rui Wei came to win, and she promised herself to win this duel. "Pick it up." She repeat with her eyes narrows daringly.

KT Xi's eyes glance to where the dagger is and calmly look to the woman before him. "Any specific reason?" He inquire in a rather uninterested tone. Of course, KT Xi is fully aware of what the Imperial Noble Consorts intention were as to why she want him to pick the dagger up from the tree, still he ask anyway.

"Picking up the dagger signifies your acceptance to my challenge." She reply. "As a part of the family of great generals that serve the emperor for countless of generations, we strongly believe that by picking up the offered dagger is a clear indication of a fair battle against two women that won't leave both sides any regrets towards the outcomes of this duel." She get into a fighting stance with her rapier sword glinting with the light that the storm could give a little. The straight sword that has a narrow blade with sharp edges is pointed at KT Xi for a challenge. "Now, Gracious Empress Yin Xi of Unknown house–" KT Xi flinch sheepishly within him. "–pick up the dagger."

KT Xi can't counter what the lady before him had said. Indeed, no one knows which house their Empress belongs to or where she came from before she was crowd. KT Xi already know how the Emperor's palace tightly secure his background from being questioned by the people around them, and protect his real identity as a shadow guard who was tasked to attract the assassin's attention to himself.

Although, KT Xi is kind of reminded of how he already felt like he's quite far from his original missions the moment the assassination had halted. Now that he think about it, the shadow guard is now uncertain about how long will he have to pretend as an Empress to the people, and what will happen when he suddenly vanish... I think that's the emperor's problem now, he will probably find a lady who looks exactly like him and let her become the empress that the emperor deserves...

There's just a tiny problem, what will happen if the true empress is crown, does that mean that they have to be more vigilant considering that the prophecy that the ministers are trying to prevent will probably happen soon?

KT Xi calmly walk to the tree where the dagger is buried and pull it out from the trunk. He turn to face the Imperial Noble consort and look into her cold and determined eyes. What if the Imperial Noble Consort is the true Empress? And that she is fated to win this battle and fulfill the prophecy? If indeed she is the real Empress, it ends the world or not, the Emperor needs his real Empress and KT Xi -a mere shadow guard has no say to that.

Now the decision has to be made, should KT Xi let the Imperial Noble Consort win for the Empire to have a real Empress? Or should he just fight her with all his best and see who shall win this battle and gain the throne as this Empire's beloved Empress? He need to decide now, if the imperial noble consort win, KT Xi will have to return to his duty as a masked protector who have to hide behind the shadow and regain his status as the Emperor's shadow gu–

KT Xi blink in bewilderment. His head turn to the right where the Emperor's possible location, a slightly visible frown from his constantly blank expression could be seen. His sharp eyes look pass the boundary of the dome then miraculously connected to the emperor's eyes. This ability to precisely locate the emperor's location and managing to connect with each other is completely a great surprise to the people who witnessed this.

Although KT Xi is just guessing, he still can't help but feel like he is looking at the emperor's cold and dark eyes. With that, he suddenly felt nervous, His Majesty,... Has his own reasoning which I'm not quite familiar and will never be able to comprehend...

The Emperor who is calmly seating on his throne can't help his iris to turn scarlet as the shadow guard within the dome look into his direction and precisely look directly into his eyes. He smirk, he wave his hand to a eunuch and ordered. "Tell the Illusionist to stop the snow storm." The eunuch bow and proceed to inform the illusionists.

Although the emperor's iris remain scarlet as KT Xi averted his line of sight and look straight to his opponent, the Royal Guard who see the emperor's scary eyes can't help but frown in confusion. Normally when the Emperor's iris turn scarlet, depending on his mood, the people around him should have been chocking to death or dying from their blood being controlled mercilessly by the emperor. But right at this moment, this is a great miracle that nothing is happening causing the Royal Guard to wonder whats going on, everyone is alright and the emperor is quite calm,... does that mean that the emperor still have a deeper secrets that he's still unwilling to unveil to anyone just yet? The Royal Guard Alma has no answers to that, in anyway, he is already aware that the Emperor have tons of secrets that no one would know unless he tells them by himself.

As KT Xi drop the dagger to the surface to signify the start of the duel, the chaotic storm suddenly calmed down and a peaceful snow covered terrain reveal its magnificent beauty.

The Imperial Noble Consort Ignore the change of environment and dash to attack first to her opponent.

KT Xi swiftly swing his own katana and block the Imperial Noble Consorts attack.

With a firm grip of her sword, Wang Rui Wei exchanges blows after blows of attacks.

Even though KT Xi is wearing a clothes with an armour who weighs more than his swords combined, he still manages to attack and defend himself with ease.
