I've fought demons, vampires, werewolves and any other creature you can imagine and I've never broken my arm. Until now, when I tripped over a freaking shoe. Needless to say, the boys mostly laughed at my clumsy fall. They were somewhat helpful, but keeping me on house arrest was driving me crazy. Just when I thought they'd have a couple days to stay at the bunker and keep me company, Sam found them another case.
"Are you going to be ok?" Dean asked me, noticing my grumpy expression.
"Yeah, unless I die of boredom."
"I don't think that it is possible-"
"It's an expression, Cas."
The confused angel looked at Dean, silently asking him something.
"Ignore Y/N"s manners, she just wants to be out there with us," he explained.
I sighed.
"Sorry, guys. Im just going a little insane staying here so long."
Sam patted my shoulder and gave me an understanding and sympathetic smile.
"We understand, but this hunt is serious business. The witch is pulling some pretty crazy stunts."
Cas nodded.
"That's why I'm here. I got info that she's being powered by souls she's stealing. It's going to be dangerous."
"Okay, I get it. I'll be in the bunker patiently waiting, just get back here in one piece, okay?"
"Sure thing," Dean said and they all got up, preparing for the hunt.
I watched as they hurried around, gathering wooden stakes and different types of blood. The witch was doing stuff we'd never heard of and they didn't really know what to expect. I had to say, I was worried and. Cas coming down to join us made me uneasy. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy to see him, but if he thinks it's a big deal, then it definitely is. Soon enough, they loaded their weapons and materials into the Impala, driving off and leaving me alone with my boredom. I did the only reasonable thing: blasting music and sliding around in socks. After almost falling and getting close to breaking my other arm, I decided I should take a break. I fell asleep watching Friends and didn't wake up until the next morning. Untangling myself from my earbuds, I slowly got dressed, letting out a string of creative curses at my stupid self for getting my arm broken. When I finally made it into the kitchen, Dean, Sam, and Cas were sitting at the table.
"Oh, guys, you're back!"
Dean stood up and walked towards me.
"Yeah, the hunt went really fast. Then Sam was a softy and convinced us to drive all the way, so you wouldn't be lonely."
"Aw, that's so sweet! Thank you guys!"
"Of course, sweetheart, we really care about you," Dean said before patting my shoulder.
"Thanks, Dean."
That was a bit weird, Dean's not really the type to show much affection, unless I'd given him pie. But, whatever, maybe he's just being nice because I broke my arm. I walked past the boys into the kitchen, grabbing a granola bar.
"So, how'd it go?" I asked before taking a big bite out of the granola bar.
"Pretty good, we must have gotten false information because it was just a regular witch. We took care of it pretty quickly," Sam explained.
"Oh, okay."
We stood in silence for a bit and I swallowed my bite of my granola bar.
"K, just to be clear, no one got hurt or enchanted? Because that's kinda amazing."
Dean laughed.
"Give us some credit," he said, before walking to to the fridge and pulling out a beer.
"Sorry, you guys did a good job."
"Thank you, Y/N," Cas said, nodding at me.
I nodded back, then realized I hadn't showered in a while. I bit my lip, trying to figure out how to do that. I decided on bubble wrap.
"Okay, guys, I'm going to go take a shower."
"Call us if you need anything."
I nodded at Dean and started the long process. Eventually, I managed to get clean and dressed. Walking back to the kitchen, I heard the boys talking. I stood behind the doorway and listened. I shouldn't eavesdrop, but I felt like they were hiding from me.
"Do you think it'll work?" Dean asked in a low voice.
"Of course, Evera said it would. We play nice until she falls asleep then take her," Sam said matter of factly.
What? What where they talking about? It couldn't be me.
"Y/N is not as strong as any one of us, it should be easy," Cas said.
Never mind. The witch must've gotten to them and put a spell on them. Still, that remark kinda hurt.
"How soon do you think she'll fall asleep?"
"I don't know, I'll go check," Dean answered Sam
The scraping of the chair made my heart beat faster. I turned around quickly to tiptoe back to my room when it happened. Damned bubble wrap. I froze, my heart beating so fast I was surprised I hadn't passed out. Maybe he hadn't heard it.
"Y/N, I know you're there!"
Damn it. I looked at the door, which slowly creaked open. Before I could see Dean, I started running as fast and quietly as I could. My mind raced along with my feet, as I frantically tried to come up with a plan. Suddenly it came to me: my secret hideout. Of course I had one, the bunker was big and lived with a bunch of boys. The only problem was that it was on the other side of the bunker behind a frankly hideous tapestry in one of the empty rooms. As fast as I was, I could hear Dean catching up with me.
"You can't run forever!"
You think? I felt a cramp growing in my leg and knew I had to act fast. I stopped, turned around, and put on my most smug smile. Dean burst into the room. He looked at my expression and raised an eyebrow.
"I wouldn't be smiling if I where you."
I quelled the fear rising in me and started to laugh. Laughing as hard as I could, pointing at Dean.
"What? What is it? Why are you laughing?" He asked, bewildered.
"You totally fell for it! Oh," I caught my breath, "I can't believe you're that dumb!"
I sauntered over to him, patting his shoulder.
"You really think Evera would let you take care of this by yourselves? I'm on your side, idiot."
He looked confused.
"That doesn't make sense."
"Only because you have a brain the size of an acorn. You may have the strength and intell, but she needs my brain and ability to lie, which I obviously just proved."
I walked to the door, keeping the smug look on.
"See you later, Winchester."
I closed the door behind me and I guess he fell for it, because he didn't follow me. I made my way to the secret closet, where I had a phone where I could call for help. I doubted the lie would work on Cas because he could just read my mind. Eventually, I made my way to the room. Wincing at the noise, I closed the door behind me and pushed back the tapestry. There it was, a dark closet. It was a really big walk in closet, so I had pulled in a bean bag and a little bookshelf next to my stash of food. There was a lightbulb hanging from the ceiling and after I closed the door behind me, I pulled on it to turn it on. I plopped down on the bean bag, trying to calm myself before calling someone on the phone I kept next to the chips. The I heard his amused voice.
"You really thought you could hide from me?"

This was requested by @determined03 and it ended up being really long, so I'm dividing it into two parts :)
